The clock displays 0.00am, and when you reset it after a few seconds it goes back to 0.00am. Ive done a reset to factory settings but no help…!! Any ideas please?

TomTom XL: Power cable hooked positive to negative, now does not power up

I made an adapter power cable, but I wired it backwards positive to negative. Now with a correct wired power cable the green light lights, but the unit will not power up when pushing the on/off switch. What component is most likely damaged and can I replace the damaged part?

I have a TomTom GPS that loses all set-up info when unplugged from truck. Battery does not hold charge. Can the battery be replaced - no screws are visible to open the GPS.

i download some software off your site to update the initial screen... they were add-on's by other people & it messed up my gps... gps does not even open up correctly... i need to reload the software into my gps.. reset that?!

The screen is locked up on the personal information site I have done a reset at this location with no luck. I have also done a reset in the off position.

I plug the unit into the vehicle, so it is not running on the battery. After a time (can be ten minutes or two hours) the unit will shut off without warning. The screen does not go black; it goes to the shutoff screen as though someone had pressed the switch. Once off, it can not be switched back on again.

I drive (since one year) 2cv6 with TomTom XL. Last week i did load my TT ones with quintezz-loader. TT does not load anymore and other electric use on same plug is also impossible anymore after quintezz. TT does also not load anymore on PC. (I also will replace part in car)

Could I also open my TT and send you pictures? Which pictures should i make?
