I bought the TomTom one in 2008 and it has always worked well. Recently I updated it before I started on an out of town trip and when I tried to use it I got two negative messages. Message 1. Poor GPS Reception and 2. Waiting for a Valid Satellite Signal. it would not proceed any further. I've reformatted and reinstalled the system but still the same result. What can I do?

My GPS was plugged in my car and was working fine. When I turned off the car, the GPS turned off and won't turn back on. I charged it overnight and it still won't turn on.
