Toilet: Installed new Korky quietfill kit w/ flapper, now doesn't flush down

I recently installed a new korky quietfill complete kit in a old toilet because the previous system was getting stuck running and I've used one of these before in my other bathroom. But the new system no matter what I try to adjust no longer let's the water flush down enough to move solid waste everytime. The only thing I had not replaced was the handle. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

Update (11/02/25)

Well I thought I had it fixed.

I had soaked all the rim jets and siphon jet with CLR and for a few flushes, it worked. So I'm guessing the issue is build-up of rust when taking the tank apart must have gotten into the bowl jets and is effecting their output.

Toilet: Seal hole in in-wall toilet tank

Half a year back our contractor installed in-wall toto toilet with the tank inside the wall. It turned out while drilling hole for something else he went too far and made a tiny hole in the tank's bottom right corner. Now it is slowly leaking. He accepted the fault and wants to fix it by his expense, but it requires replacing multiple wall tiles and etc . We are leaving it as the last option, but we are looking for other ways to avoid breaking the wall. Luckily my wife is able to squeeze her hand through the control panel opening and inside the tank, and she can feel the hole, it feels like a a tiny knob. So, she can put some glue on her finger and apply it directly to the hole, she also can do some sanding before that, and maybe even apply a patch if needed(not sure it will be ideal though - space is tight, all operations will be done blindly). The complexity is that as far as I know the tank is made from polyethylene and most of glues don't work well with it, and welding is out of question due to the limited space and inability to watch the process. Question - do you think fixing hole in polyethylene tank is possible under the mentioned conditions? If yes, what glue can you recommend?

Toilet: Can Kohler toilet use univeral fill valve

I have heard that I need Kohler brand parts to repair my toilet. Is there any reason a universal fill valve will not fit. The current is a Kohler fluidmaster black shank GP1083167. I want to know if I can use the Fluidmaster 400a universal instead. It's cheaper and the store was out of the Kohler brand.

Toilet: Bowl loses water after flush

I have a new Niagara toilet that I installed. When I flush, everything seems fine. There is no leak, no odd noise, or anything else. After the tank stops filling, the water level in the bowl slowly drops. It loses about 50% of its water. This is strange because after the flush the water level initially settles at the right spot. The tank looks to have the correct amount of water in it after the flush, and even after the bowl loses its water. And the toilet that was there previously didn’t do that. And none of the other new toilets do this (we have two other toilets like this in the house). Any ideas as to what could be causing this?
