the claw will go up and down and open and go back and forth, but not left to right. there are no wires that are cut anywhere.

Why when I move the joysticks it stops the whole machine altogether and when push one of the side buttons it doesn't stop the music for that direction

Why are the up and down functions suddenly reversed? I have to press "up" to make the claw go down and vice versa, AND the claw won't open anymore.

Hello, my machine is working in all other aspects, I just can’t get the chain to move up and down properly. I’ve opened up the top and tried to readjust the chain, but I can only get it to move down 3/4’s of the way or it goes down all the way closed and only opens on its way up. I’m not sure how much I need to wind the claw opening chain and how much to wind the claw closing chain for it to function properly. Thank you!

Yes, my son decided to fix the chain mechanism of his claw machine, and while I always encourage and support him, he unfortunately forgot to take pictures this time...

Lesson learned. Does anyone have a few pictures of both (all?) layers of gears?

How do I fill the machine?

The Claw: Machine doesn’t detect when the “prize” was picked up and keeps going

When a prize is picked up and dropped into the prize hole, my machine keeps playing music as if the nothing happens. It doesn’t seem to be able to detect when a prize has been successfully picked. It will continue playing the circus music, until I get the losing sound since it thinks we haven’t picked up anything.

I suspect the sensor is broken or something like that? Everything else works fine, lights, sound, controls and all. Except being able to detect a winning game.

What’s wrong and how to fix?
