Texas Instruments TI-82: Why my calculator doesnt turn on?

hy, mi ti-82 calculator doesnt turn on propperly. it starts, it´s on by a second but it turns off immediately, the batteries are ok, and all the microcomponents ,but it doesnt turn on.

Texas Instruments TI-82: Glitched vertical lines on TI-82 Stats.

A few days ago, I dropped my TI-82 Stats calculator. At the same time, the batteries ran out, so I'm not quite sure which of them caused the problem. Anyways, when I had inserted new batteries, the screen had thick glitched vertical lines that obscure every other character. The "glitched" lines mostly look like a "ladder"-pattern, but there is a thicker line in the middle, what looks like noise to the far left, and there are some missing pixels here and there. It has looked like that since I pressed the graph button (or whatever it's called, I don't have the calculator here right now). Before that, it was an even thicker pattern. Does anyone know what the problem could be and how to fix it?

Ok, so I recently got my old TI-82 out of my junk drawer to use again.I replaced all of the batteries and checked for corrosion, but it just wont boot. No matter what I try the thing will not turn on at all. One thing to mention is that it has been sitting for over a decade. I'm not sure if that's a factor.

Texas Instruments TI-82: One key is not working anymore

The calculater works fine except the key for "3" doesn't do anything.

Is it easy to fix this?
I cannot seem to get it open.
