Texas Instruments TI-83: Why TI-83 wont turn on

Hi.

I'm having a problem with my TI-83, it doesnt turn on.

I have replace the batteries, the 4 AAA and the

backup one, and followed all the hints supplyed in TI,

troubleshouting section.

It still doesn turn on.

What can I do?

When I use it for some time, the screen ends up freezing, and the only buttons that work are 2nd, Diamond, Alpha, and copy

ti-86, when i push the on button, the screen blinks with a bunch of scribble lines on the bottom third of the screen, then nothing

changed all the batteries. dosen't look like there is any damage. prett much looks new.

My TI-84 Plus calculator will not turn on. It is one year old, and seems like new, but won’t turn on. Any suggestions? I can’t find a reset button on it.

Does anyone else have the same issue where it seems the keys are extra sensitive and are duplicating my entry? I love this calculator but cannot continue using it as the duplicate entry are causing such a headache.

TI-84 Plus CE: My Calculator won’t turn on or charge

Hello! My TI-84Plus CE just completely died the other day. We tried to charge it and it shows now signs that it is charging. The screen doesn’t light up or show anything. We tried replacing the battery, and still the calculator shows no signs of turning on.

Is there anything else that we can trouble shoot?

It turns on when i plug it in and i know the battery works; I tested it in another calculator. I even changed the battery. It works fine when it is plugged in though.

Texas Insturments TI-84 Plus Color Silver Edition: "Waiting... Please Install Operating System Now"

My calculator says "Waiting... Please Install Operating System Now", and when pressing any button it says “Error! Press any key to turn unit off. Then turn unit back on”, then the process just repeats itself. I have tried to restart the calculator but it did not work. I also tried to download an OS from the TI website from my Mac to the calculator but it also did not work. I believe it said something along the lines of it wouldn’t download the operating system to the calculator because the calculator didn’t have OS, which was kinda the whole point of trying to download it! I also could have done it wrong though, so any help would be appreciated on how to get my calculator working again.

Texas Instruments TI-83 Plus: One of the button rows doesn’t work

The 2nd to bottom row of buttons, specifically Sto→, 1, 2, 3, and +, isn’t working. They were working fine until one day they stopped working. I use the calculator a lot so I would appreciate any answers because it’s $100 to buy a new one.

Ok, so I recently got my old TI-82 out of my junk drawer to use again.I replaced all of the batteries and checked for corrosion, but it just wont boot. No matter what I try the thing will not turn on at all. One thing to mention is that it has been sitting for over a decade. I'm not sure if that's a factor.

The alpha key in my Ti-84 plus CE is not working i have looked everywhere on how to fix it i could not find anything about it. I did open it up however i was scared to go any further because it seemed the everything is attached to the front black face piece . I just need a little guidance. (Everything else works great)

Ok so I have a TI-84 Plus yellow-black calculator ( the ones that says school property) and I had it for a couple of years and now the entry/solve button doesn't work. All other buttons work but not that. Is there a way to fix it and dissemble a TI-84 Plus.

calculator will restart when validation complete. And starts blinking over and over again and I cannot fix it, I tried to charge or reset it and It doesn´t work.

My calculator kept saying low battery every time i would turn it on, but during one of my exams it turned off and ever since it has not turned on.

I have tried charging it, when I plug it in nothing displays on the screen same for when I replaced all the AAA batteries.
