Tesla Model 3: Tail lights swap US-EU

Hi guys!

I own an US - Tesla Model 3 and a friend of mine owns a EU - Tesla Model 3.

Now, we want to swap the tail lights with each other. I would like the orange blinkers and he want the red ones.

His car is from 2023 and mine is from 2021.

Now my question, can we just swap them? Or do we need adapters to get it working? Is it possible at all??

I know Tesla need to recode it which will cost $300. It’s fine as long it will fit and work.

Thanks in advance!!

Tesla: Why Tesla Gen3 Charger charges at 10A/13A when it's rated 20A*3

Until today, I charged my Tesla 3 RWD with the regular outlet charging cable at 10A. Today, an electrician installed the Tesla Gen3 Home Charger. We followed the instructions to get it registered with 20A on 3-phases. Still, when connecting the charger, the car was only charging at 10A/13A on a single phase (that's what I was using with the regular outlet charger). Nothing we do (reboot, taking the charger of electricity and back on) get to to start loading at 20A on 3-phases.

How can I tell Tesla to forget about the old charger and use the new one I am connecting it to?

Tesla Model 3: Steering rack play. Replace whole or part of?

Hi all,

We have some play in our out of warranty model 3. According to Tesla, the whole 2000$+ rack has to be replaced.

But according to a Tesla recognized body shop, the issue is with a small plastic part that can get damaged when a wheel takes a hit. They however only replace the whole rack too, as they only use the original parts tesla provides them with.

To me it sounds insane that a “small plastic clip”, as so according to the body shop, warrants a repair of over 2000$.

Best regards,
