I have a SAMSUNG UN43TU7000FXZA. The screen is black and if I shine a flash light at it I can see a faint image of what should be displayed. I assume the LED strip needs to be replaced but I am not sure. Any help is appreciated. Any tests I can do and is this a common failure?

Insignia NS-50D510NA19: TV screen wavy pattern after LED repair - Optic stack not digital

I did a backlight repair on an insignia 50" Amazon fireTV. I have a problem when I do these repairs. I'm terrible about keeping the optic stack in order and I don't do tv's all the time so the order that they're generally supposed to be in doesn't stick with me. But that's more of a side note as I'm pretty sure it is correct as I verified with AI. But still it is an optic stack problem not a digital problem. The picture is pretty clear but wavy patterns (presumably from the prism films) are visible and it distorts more as you move around and change the viewing angle. This can also create dark/shaded areas. So ya I asked AI to verify the order of these films and I have it as so. Starting from the rear most (closest to backlight) is the thick plastic (LGP), then the white film (diffuser), then two prisms, then lcd panel support bezel, then of coarse the lcd itself. The orientation of the films (top/bottom, front/back) can't be flipped as notches and dowels only allow them to go in one way. I tried swapping the two prism films with each other but that didn't help. AI tells me that it's because the films are warped and aren't sitting flat. Any advice on that?

Sony Television: Back Panel Removal on a Sony XBR65X800h

This is a unique set in regards to the back panel. It is a full rear panel, top to bottom. Minimal screws on the bottom and none on the top similar to Samsung’s screwless back panel. How does this come off? Does it pry off like the Samsung TV’s? To be clear this is not the half back panel that the slim Sony’s have. This is a full back panel. Unique to this size of tv. The image above is the actual set.

I removed 5 screws. 4 where the wall mount would screw into the set and one by the power plug.

Looks like the bottom is held in with plastic clips which I have released. The sides and top all seem to fit into the front frame all the way around so no way of hitting the bottom to have it slide up. Maybe the front frame has to come off first? The rear panel is connected to the front panel frame.

I have an LG 70UN7070PUA, 4k television I'm having a problem with. It's hard to explain but I'm getting these red pixel smears on the screen. They movie around when something on the screen moves. I replaced the TCon board but it's still doing the same thing. It does this on all 3 hdmi ports and no matter what hdmi cables I use. Should I try replacing the main board next, or is something else the problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Hisense Television: Screen Flickers with Horizontal and Vertical Lines

We bought a new TV back in December to replace this one, and until recently this TV was sitting unplugged in a hallway. After moving it upstairs and into its current location, the screen starts covered in horizontal and vertical lines, bleeding the colours on the screen. This occurs on every input and in the menus.

What's strange is that after several minutes, the picture will start to resolve properly, starting at the top and working its way down. During this time, there are no issues with audio and the menus are responsive to input with no freezing or delay. Below are some pictures taken specific timeframes after the TV has been turned on (put into Store Mode to demonstrate).

Just after turning on:

After about 2 minutes

After about 5 minutes

After about 7 minutes

After about 10 minutes

I have tried replacing the T-Con board and the ribbon cables between it and the display, but the issue remained the same after doing this. Same with reseating the LDVS connectors to the main board.

I'm trying to figure out if I need to replace the main board now, however after being burned on a T-con replacement that I apparently didn't need, I thought I would ask if anyone has seen anything like this before and could advise if it might be from some other, environmental issue or an issue with the screen itself. I've tried running it on and off the surge protector, on a different outlet in the room, and even with the nearby router turned off in case there was EM interference.
