Teddy Ruxpin: Need certain replacement parts for Teddy Ruxpin

I bought a Teddy Ruxpin a few weeks ago, I've been replacing parts on him but I can't find a face assembly with the eyes and mouth. A not hinged mouth that works with the 3 servos.

I have a Teddy Ruxpin from 1983. It has worked all these years but now, the tape won't turn. It starts, then stops completely. Is there a repair shop, to fix it? It's in excellent condition.

Hi,

My Teddy Ruxpin plays the tape and moves its mouth and eyes just fine. However, when Teddy is telling the story he will not produce any sound (or very low in and out static sound) every few seconds. When I tap the volume dial or lean it against something, or just fidget with it , the sound comes back and Teddy is speaking much better. I cannot get him to tell the story audibly for more than a few seconds at a time and without my messing with the dial.

The other issue is sometimes the tape will stop and the cassette deck will open slightly and then I have to close it again.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Or, if he needs repairs I am happy to hear your referrals of places I can bring him to possibly repair these issues.

I bought a replacement pinch roller for my metal tape player Teddy, and as I was replacing it a copper spring fell out… I don’t know where it came from or how to put it back, but I’m assuming it’s important as I’m unable to close the cassette door now without it. Please help!

I change for new batteries, checking all the connection and they have power , the botton to turn on don’t making any sound , look like the speaker no making sound . How I fix this part or do you tell me if the board don’t work how I can check this/

I have a teddy ruxpin that the eyes and mouth work but he moves his mouth to all the characters on the tape. I’m not sure if there is a fix for him. I have searched and found no one with this same problem. I have tried different tapes but it still does the same thing.

Has anyone replaced the speaker on the TR second generation?? It seems really simple to replace until I get into how much power I need to push a new speaker, ya know- tech stuff. I don't want to get a cool speaker and have it sound poopy because it's powered by 4 C batteries (or if that even matters).

Younger cousin tried to force mouth open and broke off lower part of mouth, can this be fixed or a replacement part available ? This belonged to my youngest son when he was a toddler and who passed away at 35 years of age and means a lot to us, we would like to have it fixed.
