TCL Television: TCL 43S525TAAA replacement backlight LED

I have a TCL 43S525TAAA or maybe 43S525-TAAA. It's backlight configuration is not the standard 43S525 (1 connector on each top middle and bottom strips) but rather 1 connector on top, 2 connector on middle, and 1 connector on bottom.

I no longer have the original strips as I had replaced them with 43S525 strips from ShopJimmy. So I don't have the part number anymore and TCL cannot identify specific parts for variants.

I was wondering if anyone could identify the part, or point me to a comparable one.

The strip from ShopJimmy is essentially identical (the caps on the LED, the LED spacing, the mount points, connector type) except there is no 2 connector strip. The 2nd connector is not merely passthrough as leaving it dangling doesn't do anything, so I'm doubtful I could just splice it into one connector and call it a day.

If it's relevant, the identifiers on the actual board connected to the glass are E202404 NPGN-150 19 0319 01 D104059REF-B-28 and TH950698AK17D103Y1MH 1923 ST4251D01-6 Ver.2.1.

75s555: TCL 75" 5 series TV (S555) with one quarter of screen dead.

Hello guys. I'm sorry that I don't know all the terminology, but I have a problem that I hope won't be too involved. Also, this this TV was in a factory where it almost definitely has been sprayed with water.

I have a 2022 TCL 75 inch 5 series LCD TV model 75S555 with a display problem that would manifest itself in different ways. Sometimes only the left half of the display was totally black, and other times it would flicker with white lines throughout. During a little troubleshooting I found that the ribbon cable from the TConn board (I think that's what it is. It is centrally mounted and has 1 ribbon cable leading from another board and 2 larger ribbon cables leading toward the bottom of the TV) had some corrosion on 4 or 5 of the pins. I cleaned the corrosion from the ribbon cable and I cleaned the connector as well as possible with contact cleaner. During testing I found that the problem then affected the whole screen. When disconnecting the ribbon cable in question I found that the right half of the screen functioned normally and when I reconnected the cable it would take out the whole screen. The faulty cable led to a board with several permanent ribbon cables which seem to lead to the actual LCD panels, and it also had a "jumper" ribbon cable connecting it to another nearly identical board. When disconnecting the "jumper" I found that the right 3/4 of the display worked normally. So the problem is definitely the board which serves the left-most quarter of the screen. I'm afraid the the LCD panel itself is trashed, but my question is whether this sounds like something that can be repaired. I will attach some photos of the components in question, and thank you all for your time.

Edit 3/17/24

@oldturkey03 advice, I masked off the smaller groups of wires one at a time until the rest of the screen functioned fine. In my case it was the third small group of contacts from the center. Unfortunately I did not take a picture of the tape placement while the ribbon cable end was detached, and I'm scared to touch it again, but I will attach a photo to the original question showing the installed cable and which set of pins I taped off. Hopefully this might help someone else in the future.

TCL Television: TCL 55S403 Roku TV black screen steady white power light on

This tv was given to me because it didn't work. I don't know what it was hooked up to prior to this. I don't have the remote. I've tried all the power on/off fixes. Reset, etc. How can I get to see the settings so I can try some of those fixes? I can't see anything on my screen. Please be specific with steps. Do I use a remote? I dont have the remote that came with the tv. But I do have a Roku voice control remote that is paired with the tv. I also downloaded the mobile remote to my phone. Is there a way I can hook up another display or can someone tell me the exact buttons and order of those buttons to push on the remote to change the darkness? the power button usually stays solid white but if I turn off and on it will blink for a few minute Or anything else I can try? Also should I hook anything up to the tv? I have cable hooked up, the app hooked me up to WiFi. I have a Roku stick hooked up to hdmi. I can see through the app my inputs. I've tried all of them except USB. Don't know what to hook up there. Thank you!

TCL Television: Thin black horizontal lines on tv panel

Hello,

I’ve been having this issue with my TCL 55” C70 tv for a few days. There are very thin black horizontal lines coming from the top right part of the panel. They are not static, but intermittent. They appear and disappear at regular intervals and follow a regular pattern.

While the lines are solid black on the right, they tend to become lighter (greyish) to the center of the display. They are not even visible on the left.

Also, sometimes there are only a few lines at the top right, sometimes there are more lines coming down towards the bottom, as you can see in this video: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0bu8alax9nburx...

In the video it appears like a darkening (backlight) problem, but it’s actually specific lines of black pixels. You can see this from a close-up photo (zoom at 100%), black lines on an image that should be consistent blue: https://www.dropbox.com/s/we3hwj8q3x68a4...

Any advice about what’s causing this problem? Any solutions?
Thank you everyone

TCL Television: TCL 32ES561 boot stopped

Every now and then when switching from TV to media it would slow down and reboot Android.

But the last time it didn't start again, it got to showing the four animated circles and got stuck there.

As soon as I plug it in, Android starts without the remote.

I tried plugging it in with the joystick pressed to start the recovery process, but it gave 'no command'.

So I searched and found a firmware, put it on a FAT32 stick, and the firmware installation completed, but at the end, 'error!'

They told me it's because the firmware must match the product code exactly, so I opened the lid and found the product code.

Need it for the model "08-RT41V02-MA200WA."

TCL replied, "Unfortunately, there are no official sources from which I can download the required file."

Where find it?
