Hi,

My Suzuki Vitara M16A 1.6 VVT engine has rough idle, upon checking cylinder 3 has low compression. I've checked all valves and there is suitable clearance. Rocker cover isn't pressurised when running, oil loos good, no white or black smoke. It's sometimes difficult to start.

Any ideas?

1998–2006 Suzuki XL-7: O/D light flashing and cranks, no start

O/D light flashing and cranks no start,

It starts with starting fluid and runs like crap for a few seconds then dies.

I replaced fuel filter and pressure regulator, no change.

Everything I have researched says crank position sensor may be the problem, code reader won't connect to the obd2 port

Any suggestions or recommendations will be greatly appreciated, thank you.
