SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless: Arctis Pro Wireless – Bluetooth LED Flashes 10 Times, Won’t Turn On

Hi everyone,

I have an Arctis Pro Wireless (White) headset and the Bluetooth function suddenly stopped working.

Symptoms:

When I hold the Bluetooth button, the blue LED flashes 10 times, then shuts off.

It never enters pairing mode.

The headset itself works normally with the base station.

Firmware is fully updated through SteelSeries GG.

Factory reset did not help.

Bluetooth memory clear did not help.

Important note:

The headset fell to the ground right before the issue started.

Volume wheel info:

The volume wheel works up/down normally — and I know it does not click inward (normal for this model).

What I want to know:

Is this symptom caused by a damaged Bluetooth module?

Could it be a loose connector or antenna cable inside the right earcup after the fall?

Has anyone fixed this by reseating the BT board or replacing it?

Is there a known part name/number for the Bluetooth daughterboard?

*

If anyone has experience opening the right earcup or repairing this exact issue, please let me know what to check.

Thanks!

SteelSeries Arctis Pro Plus GameDAC: My headset isn't playing sound when connected to the pc via GameDAC

Hi, when I connect my Arctis Nova Pro wired to my PC directly via the headphone jack, it works great. However, when I try to use the GameDAC with my PC, I can't hear anything at all. Everything in my sound menus has been cranked up to the maximum, and yet still, nothing.

I've tried changing the ports on my pc and yet still nothing, same goes for installing the SteelSeries engine and finicking with the settings over there. The GameDAC can change the settings on the headset; however, I believe it must be a setting that I have forgotten to turn on.

FYI, I received this headset today, it's brand new out of the box.

SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless: The Line out on my transmitter has stopped working.

I’ve had my speakers connected to the line out of the wireless transmitter since I bought it. However, there is no longer any signal coming from the line out. I have tested that the speakers still work and connected another device to the line out but that doesn’t work either, so it has to be an issue with the line out. I have tried resetting the transmitter in case it is a software issue but still cannot get audio from the line out. Has anybody had this issue and have a fix?

Many thanks

SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless: Trying to replace power button on PCB

The power button attached to the pcb is now working once in a blue moon. Instead of powering it off and charging the battery with the base station, I just charge it with a cable while the headset is still on. If anyone knows which two connections I can short to bypass messing with the power button for an hour or how to replace the power button entirely, I would be very grateful.

At the very least, I know the batteries work. I've tested them with a multimeter and they show proper voltage and last about 15 hours, and work without error when I get the headset to power on. I've also tested the wires that go from the hot-swappable battery pins to the pcb, and they are showing very similar voltage. I've also tried leaving the battery disconnected for about an hour and then plugging it back in and trying the button which worked once, but im not sure if that is a fluke or not. Nothing on the pcb looks broken or damaged either.

This one below is on the verge of breaking the exact same way. There is a crack in the housing coming from the location it attaches and I don’t expect it to last another month.

I'd been struggling with a wobbly right headphone for a while, and it recently fell right off the headband. after putting it back on, I noticed that it had totally lost sound.

SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless: Arctis Pro - The battery is charged but the station doesn't work

Hello. For my Steelseries Arctis Pro Wireless, the battery charges as normal and I can connect the headset to the PC through bluetooth. However, the app doesn't recognize that I have the headset so I can't use that functionality. Also, I need to manually connect the headset to the PC each time I turn it on. I can also not see the battery on the docking station, since the display doesn't work. From the outside, it seems that the docking station is completely broken, but it still charges the battery.

It wouldn't be much of a hassle, if it weren't for the fact that the audio is heavily distorted (and is automatically muted) whenever I start a game. So when I play games I have to use another headset, but the Arctis Pro works fine for watching youtube or series.

The problem appeared after a Windows update (might be unrelated I don't know). The docking station has remained safely put on my desk, so no external force. I've tried different cables and ports for the station, no difference.

Any tips? Or do I have to settle for buying a new headset/buying a cable for the headset?

SteelSeries Arctis Pro: Clicking Sound from right Speaker

I recently have started hearing a clicking sound come from the right speaker. Few things before I go further, yes I have checked for loose plastic in the earcup or loose cables and have not found any. The issue occurs whether or not the headset is plugged in or off, hinting that maybe there is just a loose cable or part in the actual speaker. If you even slightly move the headset or slightly tap it with your finger, you can hear a click come from the speaker.

I have yet to attempt to actually get into the speaker housing unit as they quite intensely protect it with a glued casing. However, if anyone has any idea what this clicking could be caused by and I can fix it by getting into the speaker holding, then I will find a way. Thanks!
