Steam Deck: Where can I buy Left and right Daughter Board?

My Steam Deck fell down, from 80cm onto carpet but it was enough to destroy both R1 and L1 Shoulder Buttons. They snapped right from the daughter board, ripping the traces. No way to solder them back on.

Now I need a new left and right daughter Board but this part seems not to be sold as replacement. Since it was the first to break from a little drop, I imagine more people would need this soon.

Can I install an 2230 M.2 SSD, like the 1TB Kioxia BG4, into the eMMC version of the Steam Deck? Specifically, I am wondering whether there are any considerations vis-a-vis interference with the Wi-Fi card, and whether the (NVMe-less) eMMC version even has the necessary M.2 port.

Steam Deck: Dropped Steam Deck - Broke Left Daughterboard

I dropped my steam deck and the LB quit working. It appears I broke the little blue piece that the LB makes contact with to produce the clicking noise. So I believe I need a new Left Daughterboard, which iFixit does not sell. I have attached pictures, sorry for the quality. Valve has still not gotten back to me after a couple of days. Can anyone verify that I need a new daughterboard? Does anyone know how I can get one? Or does anyone have any experience/advice with this? Any help is welcome. Thanks for your time. I'm beginning to worry there isn't a fix....

I was doing a full case swap and accidentally broke part MEOJ24900KDL. It's the long ribbon cable that goes along the top vent. I've tried looking in few places but can't seem to track anywhere down to get a replacement. I also suspect I broke the ribbon cable from the display to the motherboard, but I might just buy the upgrade screen anyways, will see. Anyways, whatever help would be much appreciated!

Hello, i got faulty 64GB steam deck from ebay for $40, the seller said that the device won't boot if it's not connected to external monitor/tv, i'm assuming it's a bad LCD, replacing it with the new one it's still the same, when connected to tv/monitor the touch seems to work but in the wrong orientation what could possibly wrong?

Steam Deck: No available LCD audio board for the Steam Deck

My LCD 64 GB Steam Deck's plus volume button does not work (Steam Deck goes straight into bios with no volume buttons pressed, volume does not increase when button is pressed) , I tried looking for a LCD audio board to replace mine with here, but there is only an OLED audio board. I have ruled out software issues, even after re-imaging my deck the issue occurs.

Is it possible that the OLED audio board is compatible with an LCD Steam Deck? Or that an LCD Steam Deck audio board can be made available?

Steam Deck: Broken and stuck SD card inside steam deck

I (as a very careless and innocent person) opened up my steam deck with the SD card still inside it. When I opened the back, the SD card broke in half and stayed stuck inside the SD card slot.

I tried pushing it out using the mechanism that the SD card slot has, but it doesn't seem to work with either the other half of the SD card to push or anything I try to push it with.

I looked at the teardown to see if I could open up the SD card slot to get the broken part out somehow, but the SD card slot is soldered to the motherboard, meaning I cannot get in easily.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might get it out? I do not want to make a motherboard replacement unless it's the only solution...

Thanks in advance.

Steam Deck: B button catching and getting stuck on shell

Has anyone come up with a solution to fix this? I thought maybe replacing the buttons might work, but the only part you can buy right now is the button membrane, which doesn't help. The only solutions i've seen currently is to either put a piece of tape in between the button and shell so the button doesn't catch, or to open up the steam deck and sand down the inside of the b button hole so it's nice and smooth. Anyone had any luck with the sanding?
