Bicycle: How do I straighten a bent wheel rim?

One of the rims on my bike is very bent; it stops after 1/2 a revolution because the bent part hits the brake pads.

I've heard that I need a spoke key, and also read that the best way to get a rim straight is to just take it to a pro, since it is somewhat of an art. Is this something I can tackle on my own?

Razor A2: I can't fold my scooter no matter how hard I try?

After I'm done using my Razor A2 scooter, I always try to fold it and stow it away in my garage. However, no matter how hard I try, I just can't get the darn thing to fold! Any suggestions?

Skateboard: My skateboard is always turning left a lot!

I know how to steer and are confident on my friends board, but mine has always turned left, like all the time!!!!! It sucks cause it means that I can't go on footpaths cause it goes off after a second, and I can't go to the skate park!!!! Please help me!!!!

Boosted Board 1st Generation: Replace new battery in Boosted board 1 gen

Hi,

i have a boosted board first generation and my battery is dead. Can somebody explain how i can replace the batteries and the board will work later on :)

I went to an batterie shop and they told me that the batteries are broke for sure they got new batteries but they said it will not work because of the BMS (battery management system)

So my question is: what batteries should i buy which tools do i need and how can i make my boosted board work again. If i charge it now it only runns for 2-3 minutes and then dead :(

the battery shop already took the batteries out from the board and the would make a new akku for me but i also would try it on my own

i would highly appriciate if somebody can help me to get my board fixed, i am from central europe and the shipping to USA would cost me 200 USD. So i would rather try it on my own before sending it to boosted for 200 usd and then pay additional for the repair work

Surfboard: Can I use normal Solar Rez to repair my epoxy surfboard?

I have an epoxy/Boardworks Hynson twinzer with a few small nicks. I want to patch it up before I sell it but I don't want to ruin the paint on my board or mess anything up. Can I just use my standard solar rez to repair any dings? Will it adhere?

MiJia QiCycle Folding Electric Bike: My Qicycle suddenly has no power assist

The battery level shows it is full and the LCD display shows up normal. Now it is just an ordinary bike with no power assist. The LCD display still shows the speed and watts of the bike when I am padel the bike. The bike has only 150km. Which component I should replace first or how to narrow down the faulty unit? Bike Control unit, torque sensor or the motor?

Hello,

I’ve just bought the Xiaimo QiCycle bike, and I was so happy of my purchase.

I’ve ride it to my work for a few time before winter, and I put it in the garage waiting for better days.

The sun comes finaly earlier, and when i tried to charge the battery, nothing works…

I noticed that once connected to the charger, the green led of the charger did not turn red (charging indicator), while the indicator of the bike tells me that it is completely discharged

This green led stay to green, and do not charge the battery:(

Could you tell me what to do to find out if the problem is with the charger or the battery?

so my son,daughter and i were enjoy some pinking when my daughter says the bb gun wont fire. put it on safe and took if from her, I manually cocked the lever but if felt like there was no resistance, took gun off safe aimed and attempted to fire, nothing happened, tried the safety a few times to ensure it wasn't stuck.. that isn't the problem..

Bicycle: How do I convert my road bike to a fixed gear?

This has been answered on the internet in various other places, but I am new to bike repair and modification. The things I have read are geared towards people who seem to know bike parts well. With the exception of my most recent bike, every bike I have ever owned were fixed gears. I got a used road bike specifically to practice working on it and eventually converting it.

That being said, what is the best way to go about converting it to a fixed gear? Like I said, I know next to nothing about the subject, so please feel free to over explain.

Alpine Skis: Wall mounting

How would one go about mounting a pair of really old wooden skis to the wall in my house?

I would rather not drill holes, but I would consider some sort of adhesive.

I'm going to go with dry wall hangars with screws and metal bands around skis. I do not so much worry about the wall since a drywall repair is relatively simple. I do not want to drill through the skis.

Bicycle: Why does my bike change gears at random?

When riding my bike I have to constantly keep pressure on the shift trigger to keep my rear gears from switching. If I try to ride it normally without having my hand on the shifter then it will change gear at random, more often so when I pedal harder. This is a bit of a bother and is unpleasant while riding. I have tried to adjust the shifter cables and adjustment screws but to no avail. Any suggestions or thoughts would be of great help :)

I do not know from which exact part of the gears is the sound coming....all i know is that when i shift into the first gear then the bike starts making some sound and does not change till i give it a shake.
