Exercise Equipment: MATRIX T7XI-03-C Treadmill – Reversed Emergency Stop Logic

Hello, I’m troubleshooting a MATRIX T7XI-03-C treadmill with a strange reversed emergency stop issue and need expert guidance.

1. Initial Fault Condition

The console permanently displayed “EMERGENCY STOP” regardless of whether the red E-Stop button was depressed or popped out. The machine locked out entirely and would not enter the main operation screen.

2. First Troubleshooting Steps

I disassembled the LCD console, unplugged and reseated the E-Stop switch connector and console harness plug multiple times. Power cycling brought no permanent fix.

Occasionally, repeatedly pressing/releasing the E-Stop cleared the lock temporarily. I accessed engineering mode via code 3001 and retrieved persistent error codes: 0140 (Incline motor operation fail) & 01A0 (Incline motor disconnected). The fault mostly returned right away.

3. Temporary Fix That Caused Reversed E-Stop Behavior

I opened the incline motor junction box, reconnected the wiring harness between incline motor and MCB board thoroughly, then ran full incline lift calibration. The 0140/01A0 errors disappeared, but a critical inversion happened:

- Factory normal state: Button popped up = runnable; Button pressed = Emergency Stop lockout

- Current faulty state: Button popped up = Emergency Stop lockout; Button pressed = normal usable state

Worse, fully unplugging the E-Stop harness from the console should trigger a safety lock, yet the treadmill works perfectly with the plug removed entirely.

4. Verification & Multimeter Tests

I cross-compared with two identical healthy T7XI units to confirm standard E-Stop polarity is unchanged.

- Continuity test: No open wires or short circuits inside the E-Stop harness; mechanical on/off action of the switch itself tests good.

- Voltage measurement (E-Stop pressed = circuit open):

 Faulty unit harness: 0.58V

 Reference healthy unit harness: 0.66V

I suspect this minor voltage gap comes from small transistor BE voltage variance on the console input circuit, which I believe is within normal tolerance.

I’ve exhausted basic wiring, connector, calibration and switch hardware checks with no root cause found. Has anyone encountered this inverted E-Stop logic post-incline calibration on T7XI models? Any tips for MCB/console board diagnosis or firmware reset steps?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Razor Scooter: Wheel alignment on A3 Wheelie bar model

The back wheel on my son's A3 wheelie bar model cannot be properly aligned and always ends up rubbing on the frame.

It seems that the cheap black plastic "wheel holders" are perhaps defective. Without them, the axel goes through and the alignment is perfectly straight (but not rideable since the wheel slides back and forth). With them on, the angle of the axel is off just enough to cause the wheel to always rub.

Has anyone else had problems with this? My return window has closed, and when I contacted support they said they can't help me since there is not a Razor dealer in my region.

What options do I have to make this rideable, with or without the wheelie bar? I thought that the wheel assembly kit of an ordinary non-wheelie bar model would work, but I don't want to order one if it will not fit. Again, support refused to give me any advice about this!

Thanks in advance for any advice! I really appreciate it!

Treadmill: Sole F63 motor control board

Need help identifying this component (yellow rectangle upper right corner pic #1), in the motor control board for my Sole 2014 F63 treadmill. I believe it's a fusible resistor but can't tell what size, value or type it is.If you know what it is, would you be so kind as to tell me where to get a replacement?

Not sure if this is the root of the original problem (see below) or just an added headache to slow me down and get me yelled at (even more).

Pics (labeled in to right corner)

#1: 1- believe to be bad fusible resistor (FR), 2- believed to be good FR ( Used for reference to check #1, 3- power indicating LED (On when power to board though transformer), 4- speed indicating LED(see below), 5- dark adhesive, capacitors have good (increasing) resistance

#2: test point 1-2 good conductivity with beep, 2-3 no beep 150k ohms

#3: test points 1-2 (not R5, but fuse 2) good conductivity with beep, 0.03 ohms

Original problem:
The display on my F63 treadmill 2014 will not come on (no lights or display values) after a loss of power (unplugged, power outage etc), and the speed indicating LED on the motor control board blinks when the treadmill belt is not moving, will blink quicker if I manually move the belt, and continues to blinks when I disconnect the speed sensor/reed switch. When I power the TM on it beeps a few times then the led begins to blink ,but no lights on the display. I can get the display to work by disconnecting/reconnecting wires on the motor control board and the ones that connect to the display board, never the same solution twice. When I check connectivity between the speed sensor connection on the mcb and the wires to the display board the led stops flashing. When the wires to the display board are disconnected the led is solid.

Thanks for any help.
