Sony Xperia Z: How to unfreeze phone?

While in record mode, my phone has frozen. How do I unfreeze it? I've tried turning the phone off, but nothing happens. I've tried taking the SIM card out, but nothing. How do I take the battery out of this phone? Will that work?

Hi, I recently replaced the lcd/digitizer display on a Sony Xperia Z for a customer of mine and everything seemed to go fine as usual until I turned the phone on after the repair was done. The phone was showing NO SIM/NO SERVICE. I checked the sim card tray and tried taking it out a few times and even checked to see if it was in the correct way and it was. I opened the up the back of the phone again to check if I'd maybe damaged the antenna wire or antenna board but all looked good and connected correctly. I'm a bit stuck on this one so if anyone has had this problem before or any other ideas they would be very appreciated. Thanks

Sony Xperia Z: Phone Turns Off During Calling

Dear Friend,

My Sony Xperia Ultra Z's screen is turning off during the calls and I have to click the power button twice. Sometimes volume is turning down and I cant able to make it high coz the speaker skin is not coming while clicking the volume button. Please help me with your videos.

Sony Xperia Z: How to replace charger port of my phone?

My 4 month old Xperia Z now has a fault in the charging port and it has completely come out. There is no damage to the phone and the door covering the phone is all intact...the fault developed as I unplugged the charger after a charge and the port is now inside the charger cable......can somebody help me or will it be repairable…..?????? if yes will it be repairable in india

Sony Xperia Z: Headphone always on / detected

Hi there,

I have a question regarding the Sony Xperia Z.

The Xperia Z seems to always notify me that it has a headphone connected while it has nothing in there.

The little flap/cover is broken off from the frame, wich is something i have to mention, so it does notify about the phone not being waterproof.

When i use SoundAbout and rearrange the sound output i can call and hear everything just fine. When i disable the app, i have to use the headphones with mic to be able to call or the phone will not use the earspeaker or bottom mic.

What i wonder is, even after a complete factory reset aswell as disconnecting the headphone jack from the motherboard, the phone still notifies about the headphones being plugged in when the phone boots into android.

What i would like to know is, can this be a motherboard sensor failure, or does this have to do with the fact that the flap is broken off too?

What i tried:

Factory Reset.
Jack unplugged on motherboard.
Playing music while having the jack plugged and then unplug while playing.
Force stop "Smart Connect", cleaning cache and data.

I cannot seem to find what the cause is, im beginning to think that either some circuit is messed up on the motherboard itself or that the flap/cover is the cause.

I hope somebody can help me out here.

Sony Xperia Z: No sound in loud speaker

Hello

I have a problem with my phone C6603, don't play any sounds on loud speaker.

I change a speaker and a flex cable and nothing, in earspekers i have a sound.

I change a mother board from other Xperia Z and sound works. Does anybody have a service manual or now how to repair this? It's definitly hardware problems, i flash every possible firmware and nothing change.

Hi Guys,

I'm new here. My problem is Last day I have repaired my Xperia Z screen assembly. After repairing it I found that I can't adjust the screen brightness. The dispaly is at it's lowest brightness if the brightness level is 0 or if it is 100. I don't why this happens. I did a hard reset. But it doesn't solve the problem. please help me to resolve this problem.

My girlfriend plugged in her Xperia Z to be charged when she did it disnt charge so she unplugged the cable the pins in the charge socket on the phone fell out, so i am trying to replace it how do i do this?

Hi I recently had the screen of Sony Xperia Z replaced. Everything is working great expect the power button seems to have lost its spring. You have to place some pressure on the button for it to work since it is now sunk into the housing. What could I do to repair this since it it most likely something missing behind the metal bracket which holds the button housing in place inside the phone.
