Sony Xperia Z2: Why is my phone turning off by itself?

My phone turns off by itself any time of the day. Sometimes it starts using the power button. Otherwise, I have to plug into the charger to start. Also, note that phones battery is fine because that is already charged when I plug in. I think it has some hardware issue. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Sim reader is broken and I have tried to remove it but in the removal process out of 10 / 1 soldering point is screwed and moved out of board .

That point is one of the point which tell phone that sim has been removed or inserted in the phone.

Can any one give me any solution at this situation that from where this golden point is coming from circuit or without this also it will detect sim card ( I don't want to solder / desolder sim slot again thats why confirming before moving forward ).

Sony Xperia Z2: Black screen of death while replacing charging port

I have been using this phone for about 5 months. It was has a broken micro USB port when my friend gave it to me. The usb connection works when I bend it very hard (with almost 30 degree angle). It seemed very unhealthy for my device. And I bought a charge cable for dock port. Before one week, I decided to sell this phone and get a new phone. While waiting for my charging port shipment, I removed the old broken one. Put the motherboard back, connect battery, close the case and done. I turned on phone and it's worked fine. I put my SD and Sim in. It said "Shutting down". I think it was for Sim card. And gone. When I press the power button nothing happens. When I hold the power button, device vibrates, backlight of the screen lights for half seconds and device turning off again. Sony logo, any led light, any sound, nothing shows up. When I hold power + volume down, it vibrates, Sony logo shows up for 1-2 seconds, no led, no sound, and turning off again. When I try to charge it with my powerbank (have a charging status indicator on it), it says charging, not charging, charging, not charging. Every 2 seconds, it changes status between "charging" and "not charging". I thought maybe its about battery, but makes no sense. When I unscrew battery, I put it to an empty and safe place.

Any idea?

Sony Xperia Z2: Xperia Z2 - won't turn on and stuck in boot loop

Before this problem: about 3 weeks ago, my phone stopped answering incoming calls. Instead of picking them up, it vibrates and shut down… Then restarts by itself. I ignored the problem & was thinking to get a new phone at the end of the year.

Now: Just today I think it received roughly 3 calls from the same person? But ever since morning till night, if I try to turn it on, it will get stuck in an infinite boot loop; logo - waves animation - telstra logo - repeat….

I’ve tried (after looking for answers on here) connecting to Xperia Companion to factory reset it… But because I have a screen lock it won’t let me do that…. Unless I open my phone.

I am now stuck in a never ending paradox, hoping some tech genius could help….

Sony Xperia Z2: My analog headphone jack is in need of repair.

I listen to music quite frequently and apparently it's enough to wear out a lot of earbuds. But as a first, I've also damaged(somehow) my headphone jack in both my old Xperia Z2 and my new Xperia Z5 Pro. There aren't any guides for the Z5 Pro yet and I still use my old Z2 for music, So I'll stick with the Z2 for now.

What I'd like to know is how can the headphone jack for analog audio output be replaced or repaired?

If I need to I'll even buy the necessary tools from your store, so long as you ship to Canada.

Hi,I bought an xperia z2 last year from amazon uk, It's been working fine but suddenly last week it started draining really fast but went back to normal after a while. Yesterday it was working and I left it on the chair and went out, when I got back the phone was extremly hot and the screen couldn't come onm completely blacked out. I've tried resetting it (power button + volume up, reset button near sim slot) but nothing is happening. Im able to receive calls and messages (well can hear them) but the screen is not coming on. Any way around this problem? Im in Africa by the way so sending it to the dealer might not be a solution for me. Please help......Archie
