Sony Xperia Z1 Compact: My phone froze and couldn't turn on back?

Hello,

My Z1 Compact froze once, restarted and showed Service sign. After a while Phone turned on. 2 Days later Phone battery drained at night. I turned on device morning and used during the charge. After a few minutes phone froze and couldn’t turn on. Restart options work but when clicking power button red led blinking three times.

I have sent to repairer. They say, motherboard dead. I couldn’t check phone right now but as they said phone open and turn off again. I couldn’t believe problem is motherboard.

May you help me about this?

Hello all,

I have this Sony Xperia z1 conpact that was completely destroyed. I got new screens and chassis and rebuilt the phone only to get this issue. I attached a picture of the old chassis to get a rough idea of the impact for the compact.

The phone shows no sign of life other than a clicking noise made when it's plugged in. I attached a video.

I'm hoping this is a common issue & fix. All help is appreciated. Thanks.

When I make or receive a call, the phone screen goes black and is unresponsive for several minutes. Sometimes, I have to rapidly slap the screen for a few minutes to make it come back to life. Any ideas how I can fix this?

I bought a replacement screen for a damaged Sony Xperia Z1 compact, it comes with the frame and metal cover plate, I have a problem though. The digitizer cable on the new screen is behind the metal plate whereas it was free to move around on the damaged screen. As it is behind the plate I can't get enough movement to plug it into the logic board. Am I missing something glaringly obvious?
