Sony Xperia M4 Aqua: Black screen but phone still works

I lost my sony xperia m4 aqua on the ground and then the screen turned blank. It still works. I can feel vibrations by touching the screen and hear the sounds but the screen is black. I tried everything like the secret restart tingi but its still black. Iw had the phone for 1-2 years and never use it on water much so its no water problem. I know everybody sais to go see a fixer but its too expensive. Is there a way to do it myself somehow? Please help!!!

my sony xperia m4 stuck on logo and sometimes it opens and keep restarting and stuck again on logo and if you turn on wifi or mobile data it restart and stuck again on logo and when i take it to the repair center they said to me the Internal memory

is Damaged and you need a new board for your phone !!!!!!!

thats not Logical becuase it sometimes open and i could and i did go to the file commander and see my files on the Internal memory...... i dont know what to do ?????

all these problems appeared after one week of the Marshmallow update then i Return it

to lolipop and it stilled the same proplem ...):

please tell me what to do ...?

and if i got a board tell me how to replace it by my self because the repair center is too far from my place ....

i cant make calls or recieve calls even though i have full signal bar .if i change network gsm to others i might get one call then problem persists,same if i turn phone on and off one call full signal bar then nothing

Ok so recently i changed my m4 aqua display(bought from ebay)

It started on.When i was unlocking my phone the display switched off but touchscreen still working, Its not a sowtware problem because i reinstalled fresh copy of android trough pc companion. Later i installed same old display and still the same problem. Sound touch vibration working but display not showing... i read that it may be a backlight problem that it stopped working or something.

Hi, I've recently been experiencing a black screen problem with my phone. It's able to receive calls and messages and such and the screen is responsive. However the screen is black and so I cannot see what I'm doing.

So I wanted to ask is this due to the back light ? Or would I need to replace the LCD to fix this?

Any answers given would be great !

Sony Xperia M4 Aqua: The unlock button doesn´t work properly.

My waterproof phone got damaged by water. The electronics are fine. The unlock button simply does nothing. I can unlock the phone by plugging it in to charge it.

I am very close to buying a new phone. I can use my old one for a few weeks.

Also the phone doesn´t know if something is plugged into the headphone jack. That problem is a bit older and as far as I can remember has nothing to do with water. But I guess that this is a software problem.

Okay... so i had a m4 aqua with no screen output, but it responds(let's refer as first phone). Recently i got a cheap m4 aqua that only needed to swap the battery so i did it and it worked for some time( let's refer as phone 2). I don't know why the phone 2 is not turning on anymore(something with power delivery i'm guessing). Now that i opened both phones to check differences i saw that there are some parts missing from the first phone that are on second(pics attached) maybe it's possible to somehow combine 2 into 1 and make 1 functional phone?

My phone is exceptionally slow with all applications, phone calls, whatsapp chats, texts and calls and most times gets uneccessarily heated and goes off mid action. What is the cause of this? I have taken this to a registered phones repair centre who have also been unable to resolve the issue.

This is for a Sony Xperia z. The phone wasn't listed on ifixit. Hi my old screen was smashed (but still working) but decided to replace it as I'm semi competent (maybe not) but anyway I've done a few screens before and they have been fine. Anyway after putting the new replacement screen on and putting everything back together I turn it on and the whole lefthand side is black From top to bottom, right hand side of screen works fine and even the touch works on the whole screen. Any ideas? I've reseated the cable several times but no joy.

My phone is unable to connect to mobile network and it is probably hardware issue, cause i flashed everything twice.( I mean os) it occured with signal going for short time then came back again but now no signal at all...

Hi everyone,

I need help with my phone (Xperia Aqua M4) because I can't hear anyone I call since almost 2 months now (I have this phone since August 2015). I can listening music if I use my earphones and the speakers works for make calls. But the primary function of my phone doesn't work. I tried to clean the orifices with alcohol 70% and a Q-tip. I found a lot of dirts (I work as a gardener, so). But that was not effective.

Any ideals?
