Sony Walkman WM-FX20: Why is my Sony wm-20 cassette player making a buzzing noise?

It worked just fine when I bought it on eBay in June, but now after maybe 10-15min of playing it it gradually starts making a buzzing sound. I can’t find anyone around me to fix it for a decent price either. Is this a common issue?

Sony Walkman WM-FX20: Why does my Sony Walkman-fx407 not play?

I checked the belt. It’s not messed up or anything and it turns just fine but when I put a cassette in the walkman it doesn’t play as if the turning pegs were stuck? And then I have to open the walkman back up and turn a white wheel thingy in there just to reset the belt. Also I couldn’t find the Wm-fx407 on select a device so I hope it’s acceptable for me to post a question on the wm-fx407

Sony Walkman WM-FX20: Sony Walkman WM-F2015: Starts out playing at normal speed, then slows

My Sony Walkman WM-F2015 has this strange problem where it will start out playing at a normal speed and gradually slow down the longer it plays the tape. Things I have tried to fix this:

Change the belt

Change the batteries

Adjust the potentiometer

I'm running out of ideas. What should I do next?

Hi there,

Attached is the image of the right side of the Walkman’s door (sorry for the dust!). It seems like some part is broken or missing that would otherwise hold the door in place. What would be the best way for me to fix this?
