The bottom half of my swivel hinge on the WH1000XM5s recently cracked, and is now on the verge of splitting in half. Is there anything I can do (can't afford to replace these just yet), or should I just get a new pair?

Sony WH-1000XM5: Should I replace the hinge on my broken XM5 or just let it go?

I feel really dumb for buying the XM5 3 years ago for the full $400, only for the left hinge to break only a year later, I didn't even use it that often and occurred while on my ears. I had opened it up to replace it but never bought a new hinge. If I do, will it just break again? Maybe I could sell it after fixing it? But that feels like a hassle and might get returned from a buyer. All I'm certain of is never buying sony or plastic headphones again.

Sony WH-1000XM5: Why is my touch sensor auto activating and can it be fixed.

The touch sensor in the right ear is self activating. Normally, when used the headphones will make a noise to signify that the touch pad has been touched. However, mine activate and make this noise with no one touching it. It's as if it's being spammed sometimes and it is absolutely mind numbingly infuriating. I have the touch sensors capabilities turned off because it would pause and unpause my music, however this sound is still present and I am losing patience with them. I love these headphones and want this problem resolved.
