Sony Vaio Flip 15: Fan connector on MB pulled off

Hi guys. Really hope someone will be able to help me here! My fan was loud, so I bought a new one. Taking the connector off the MB, the pins fell off......

So I thought I would solder the fan directly on the MB. There are 4 "silver" soldering points on the MB, and I have 3 wires. Red 12V, black ground. These two wires works fine, and are connected correctly with soldering.

The problem is the yellow PCM fan. 1 of the 4 silver soldering points, got pulled off along with the connector. That dot was of course the PCM dot. The fourth unused dot remains intact, along with 12V and ground. This means that my solder won't stick.

So I put a big amount of solder on the unused dot, so big that it reached the PCM dot, and then soldered the wire to it, hoping for the best.

The fan does work somewhat. When my computer get's hot it takes some time before the fan starts. When using it in normal use, the fan goes from not spinning, to being very loud, and then completely shuts off, once the computer is cooled off. (Normally the fan would slowly slow down, until it would stop. In this case it directly turns off).

When running prime95, the fan starts at 50 degrees. at 60 it goes 100%, but it does this too late, and at 65 degrees the computer shuts itself off.

I think 65 is a bit low for the computer to already turn off? Normally they are rated at max 95-105 degrees for CPU's?

Anyways, is there any way I can fix the PCM dot? Making it able to attract solder again? I think when the pins got pulled off, it took the copper with it, and it's the PCB that is now exposed. (It's a dark brown color)

Or are there other solutions I didn't think of?

Ps. My girlfriend can run Prime95, and is at a stable 71 degrees. Her fan runs very low, and you can't really hear it. Is my computer over sensitive? At 60 it's like a jet engine, and 65 it turns off.

Sony Vaio Flip 15: My laptop touchpad multi-finger doesn't work.

Hi there. it's a couple of weeks that my vaio touchpad (Flip model) multi finger is not working. I tried to update the driver, but it doesn't work yet. Actually, i can't see any option for multi finer now. Is there any solution for that? When i connect a wireless keyboard (which has a touchpad), the multi finer function of keyboard's touchpad works properly.

Sony Vaio Flip 15: What adhesive should I use to hold the screen in?

After finding a replacement screen for this device and using the 3M double sided adhesive found on this site the screen is simply not staying in place. When opening and closing the device significant bowing takes place in the LCD assembly. This causes the glass screen to come out of its plastic bezel. I have tried the double sided adhesive twice now. The second time covering every surface that comes in contact with any backing plastic with the stuff and it is just not strong enough. Does anyone have an suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Sony Vaio Flip 15: Flip 15 will not boot - Error code: 0xc000000f

I downgraded from Windows 10 to 8.1 the other day and after rebooting I got the error message below.

'Recovery

Your PC needs to be repaired

The boot configuration date for your PC is missing or contains errors

File \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\BCD

Error code: 0xc000000f

I have tried 8.1 installation media via USB as my Vaio doesn't have an optical drive and each time I got in to it I get that blue screen and when I press refresh or re-install it says "The drive where Windows is installed is locked.Unlock the drive and try again."

What can I do to resolve this? I have tried check disk, tried bootrec but nothing works, any help would be gratefully appreciated.

(If the hard drive needs replacing, what would I need and where do I get it from?)
