Sony Vaio Duo 11: Detaching orange flat cable over SSD

Hello!

Hope everyone's doing well. I am a girl newbie with anything to do with chips, cable, screws and what not so please excuse my embarrassingly lacking knowledge on the terminologies. I'm changing the ssd from the vaio duo 11 and there's this orange flat cable thingy hovering over it that I am not sure how to remove safely. Your help is greatly appreciated! And if you can also enlighten me on what that orange cable is called, that'll be awesome too :)

NOTE: I have safely removed all the screws and removed the cover without scratching or bumping into anything :).

Thank you a million times!

Sony Vaio Duo 11: Sony Vaio Duo 11 DC input needs replacing

My Vaio Duo 11 fell onto the floor. Unfortunately it landed on the DC input side. When I checked the internal battery will not charge. And I think the DC input broke as I opened it up and see the DC input board was bit loose. At the moment I can only use the laptop using sheet battery, it only lasts 1-1.5 hours usage. And I have to take the sheet battery off for recharging (inefficient process) . I wonder if you could tell me where I could buy the Sony Vaio Duo 11 DC input board from? Thank you

Sony Vaio Duo 11: The touchscreen is not working

Hello! I was using my Sony when the screen turned completely black. I connected the notebook to the TV and could see the images on it. The touchscreen worked perfectly. I took the notebook to an unofficial service, and when he returned my notebook I could see the images, but the touchscreen didn't work. He says he simply touched the contrast of the keyboard, but I dont believe him. I rebooted the O.S., but still failed to recognize the touch system, so I guess it's a hardware problem. Anyone can suggest a solution?

Sony Vaio Duo 11: Removing Vaio Duo 11 access panel for SSD upgrade

I am looking into upgrading the SSD drive of my Sony Vaio Duo 11 convertible laptop. Having a 128GB in it right now is a little tight...

Has anybody removed the access panel under the Duo 11? Before starting it is always nice to have somebody who has done it share, so I don't remove screws for nothing or forget to remove others and break something!

Also is there anything special as far as installing the new drive in and installing Windows 8 on it? It'll be my first install of an SSD drive, though I have a lot of experience with IDE and SATA mechanical drives.

Thanks for any input
