I have a sony SRS XB-30, one day suddenly it stopped charging and turning on . I wish to change the charging board .please let me know how to change the charging and battery circuit.

How can I locate the cause of many capacitors that are shorted to ground (continuity beep on both sides of capacitors) on my Sony SRS-XB30 motherboard?

I bought 48 units of these speakers to fix and almost all of them don't power on and don't charge. Upon taking them apart and looking inside, some boards have a burnt capacitor near the battery connection inside. Simply replacing this capacitor won't fix the problem. I've checked all of the capacitors on the board and many of them are shorted to ground (both sides). How can I locate the root cause of all of these bad caps or does it sound like the motherboard is fried and no longer repairable?

Whoever had experience with repairing bluetooth speakers that don't power on and don't charge with lots of bad caps, please give me some input/advice.

I plugged my Sony Srs- xb 30 portable speaker into my computer charger by accident. That sent it a lot more power. The portable speaker never worked afterwards.

Hi, I accidentally put a 12v charger into my xb30. Now when I put in the right charger the battery indication turns on for about a minute then turns of. the middle buttons on top doesn’t work and the lights doesn’t turn on. Extra bass, the on button, pairing and the sound still works.

First of I’m sorry for the very late reply to such a helpful answer. I’m so grateful that there is this help to get, and to create a fixing culture when there is so much waste of stuff is inspiring.

I had another speaker of the same kind so I never got around to cracking this thing up. Now I found out a friend that was living in my house accedentily put a 12v charger in to my other one, so this happened again haha🤦‍♂️ this one is completely dead now. Anyways I have opened it up and sitting with the parts in front of me. I’ll send over some pictures of the charging board if that is what you meant.

My Sony SRS-XB30 was working fine however suddenly one day didn't switch on. It now turns on only with connection of Live power but starts making a distorted beep sound at regular intervals of 2 seconds. No other sound is coming out of it even after connecting through Bluetooth. Pls help.

My kids lost the charge cord. Found one that fit didn't pay attention it was a more highly rated cord. I couldn't smell anything burning or hear anything fry but it will not power up can I fix it or how do I fix it thank you
