Sony SLT Alpha-65V: GPS seems to working not any more

The GPS is switched on , GPS supportdata are up to date but no Coordinates are displayed. The Icon in Display showes a Satellite and a Parking ban sign.

Any Suggestion how to check the GPS? Is it a module or integrated at the mainboard?

Sony SLT Alpha-65V: SD card can't be inserted

Hi guys,

I think I have ruined my camera SD card slot, the SD-card can't be inserted , when I push it into the slot, it return back without getting in place. even I can't hear any click to let me know that the SD card is in place.

How can I repair this? do I need a new spare parts? any reference parts number?

Sony SLT Alpha-65V: Broken Pop-up Flash broken

I inadvertently SAT on my camera and broke the pop-up flash unit. It no longer locks down on the body but still produces a flash ! Is it repairable and if so, any idea as to cost or where to send it ? Is it self repairable given a spare unit ?

Powers on intermittently but powers off by itself. Confirmed good battery and A/C power supply. Switch, motherboard?

Sony SLT Alpha-65V: LCD screen will not rotate nor will portrait photos, why?

Received Sony SLT65 advertised in “Excellent” condition.

Upon testing it out Thursday, I’m finding that the camera is not working properly. Specifically, the LCD display is supposed to rotate upon taking a picture vertically (portrait mode). The LCD does not rotate. Also, once a picture is taken in vertical(portrait) mode, the replay of the picture is to be replayed in the format taken. This is not working.

I’ve attempted a reset twice, taken maybe 50 photos and these features are not working properly.

Seconds after turning on my camera and seeing an image, the image disappears from both the viewfinder and the lcd. I can still see it in both with the preview button and I can still take the photo. And idea what the problem might be?

My Sony Alpha 65 starts to come on with alpha symbol then message camera error. Contactors, batteries, as cards, and lenses are okay. Can the shutter be fixed at home? How do you replace shutter and anyone know about how much? This camera has taken phenomenal photos of motocross, soccer, wakeboarding, stills, portrait, action, and animals. Very worried about the cost to repair. Any advice??
