Sony Reader Wi-Fi PRS-T1: Why am I unable to connect the ereader to my windows 10 laptop?

I have tried to connect my ereader to my laptop to download books to my ereader. I am unable to connect to the computer. What drivers do I need to make this happen? The USB cable charges the ereader, but data connection is not established. How do I establish a data connection?

Sony Reader Wi-Fi PRS-T1: The rechargable battery has died I guess.. can I replace it myself?

I haven't used it for a couple of years and I think it's battery is out of its function.

I tried open the cover and replace it wish new one but I don't know what batter I should buy or where to buy...

I don't know how I do the wiring as well.

Can any one help?
