Sony Projector: Sony VPL-HW10 video on all inputs green, but menu looks fine

My HW10 has started only showing a completely green video image, BUT the on-screen menu looks 100% correct, with its normal blue and yellow menu interface. It seems like the actual "processing" of the video input itself is messed up. This happens on HDMI, VGA, Component, Composite. All settings in the menu appear to be working correctly. I've done a settings reset and left the projector unplugged for hours, with no improvement.

I'm guessing I'm screwed and some entire PCB in the projector needs to be replaced... Which would probably be prohibitively expensive compared to just buying a new projector :\

sony projector: Replacing fuse on Sony VPL-VW60

The bulb at end of life exploded in the projector. After replacing it the projector flashed 6 red on the Standby light. Taking it apart I found a fuse that was a the end of a cable running across the optical assembly and positioned near the lamp was not working (tested on a multimeter).

The fuse is described as "1-576-233-51 s FUSE (H.B.C.) (6.3A/250V)"

(Sony VPL-VW90ES also has the same part number)

It looks like this:-

Does anyone know what it is ?

For example is it one of these:- https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/non-reset...

Sony Projector: Projector Suddenly Stopped Working

<ins>Sony VPL-HW20</ins>

My projector worked perfectly until one day it didn't power up; what could the problem be? I have a replacement bulb but I don't think that's the problem.

Sony Digital Projector VPL-ES1: How to tell if the lamp has blown?

My projector was working fine (lamp has only used 79 hrs) I switched it off, then 30 mins later started it up again, power came on, tilt working, but no light from the lamp.

It then shut itself down and the lamp cover indicator lights up. No warning of any kind before this happened.

I have removed the lamp, but it dose not look as if it has blown! How can you tell?

Could it be the lamp is OK and its another problem?
