sony xperia e5: black screen but reacts to touch

Hey, I needed a new microphone on my Sony Xperia E5 because it was broken, so I took the mobile apart, changed it and then put it together. When I pusched the power button it turned on but the screen was still black. The phone reacts to touch, charching works, sounds work. It is actually not totally black, in a dark room I can see whether it’s off or on. And also there is a small stripe of white light in the top of the screen. Does anybody have any idea what the problem could be?

sony xperia e5: Xperia E5 stuck in boot loop

Hi! My Xperia E5 has been stuck in this awful boot loop for days now. I have no luck with the hard reset and I've already unplugged the battery (and plugged it back on w/ no hitches) but it still goes into the boot loop.

My alarm was going off, battery about to be drained (it had 2%) when it died. Charged it for 20% then turned it back on, only to encounter the boot loop.

What do I do? Thanks in advance.

Hey there. I recently replaced the charging board on my E5 due to microphone failure. I used the newly bought part to to this. I followed all disassembly steps shown on one of youtube videos. Unfortunately, after replacing the part I found out that there was no network signal. When I put the old part back in, the signal was back on but I lost it again upon inserting the new board again. I thought maybe the antenna wasn't connected properly, connecting it to the new board was quite harsh, contrary to the old board where it snapped in smoothly. However, after inserting the old board back, the signal wasn’t there and now there’s no signal at all no matter which part In connect. Any ideas on what would be the problem? The microphone and charging port work good on the new part.

There was this phone that I found, and it worked, but it had a pattern password that I never could open. Since it is an old phone, I never knew what Android version it was using. However, I did a test to see if the OS was under Android 4.4 by entering an incorrect password five times. It did not give me any screens that allowed me to use a Google password or a backup password, so it leads me to believe that it is running Android 5.0 and up, which means that it may have a Google account on it, which, again, I don't know the password to.

I have a Sony Xperia and have this problem with it coming up with optimising 1 of 1 apps but I don't have any of the apps mentioned before. I do have: snapchat, instagram, Harry Potter, webtoon, WhatsApp, kerrang, AVG protection, play games, wattpad and three. These are all the apps I can uninstall.

I've also notice a 10256 taking the majority of my battery aswell as my phone heating up faster. I heard you could get rid of the 10256 by fully charging and rebooting without the charger on, but I don't wish to do that with how long it takes with the optimising 1of1.

My phone won't switch on... I have to hold in power and and the up volume button for it to vibrate and go to the Sony Experia stage of starting up..then it will just freeze at that point. If i plug in my usb cord it might show a red light...but the mass storage/driver wont show..laptop won't recognise it...I tried using sony companion but it still won't recognise the phone.... What do I do??? Anybody please?
