How do I replace the LCD screen of my duo11. Someone has removed the screen of a 11 Duo or something similar?

i have sony Vaio S series, when i upgraded to Windows 10, the assist key just work as a power button, i cant access BIOS, i need to enable VT,,

on the other side on advance restart of windows startup, UEFI firmware settings options are not appearing in advance settings :(

I steped on my vaio pro 13. The Display is not broken but there are imprints on the panel. So I want to replace the display. The problem is there are no screws around the display. Have you an idea how i can replace the display?

I try to cut to the chase. My Vaio machine has this issue for the last couple of years! and keep geeting worse that windows (7,8,10) restarts, shuts down or freezes randomly at boot, startup or in the middle of something. Sometimes with the slightest move or touching the monitor.

I have tried the thing below:

• Cleaning the fans
• Updating to the latest driver updates
• Updating BIOS
• Fresh installation of Win 7,8,8.1,10 MANY times
• Installed Ubuntu (working just fine but it's linux)
• Changed the HDD
• Tested the RAM and changed
• Tested with different chargers and batteries

Until recently when I was fed up with Ubuntu and its lack of software, I installed Windows after many tries and learned the windows only boot if the laptop is physically "warm"!

But Ubuntu just works fine if the machine is cold!

For now I have to leave the laptop is BIOS for like 10 min until the fans go crazy and then I know it would boot to Win!!

What's your guess or recommendation to try?

Hope everyone's doing well. I am a girl newbie with anything to do with chips, cable, screws and what not so please excuse my embarrassingly lacking knowledge on the terminologies. I'm changing the ssd from the vaio duo 11 and there's this orange flat cable thingy hovering over it that I am not sure how to remove safely. Your help is greatly appreciated! And if you can also enlighten me on what that orange cable is called, that'll be awesome too :)

NOTE: I have safely removed all the screws and removed the cover without scratching or bumping into anything :).
