One of the charging ports on my charging station is no longer working. I think one of the metal contacts that is supposed to spring up is trapped in the plastic housing. Does anyone know how to open this thing so I can try and re-seat it?

I have this issue where the right ear doesn’t work, no sound, the left one though works completely fine. I’ve fiddled around with it and it did start working, but by the time i put it back together It had stopped working.

Dualsense Charging Station: Replacement leaf spring contacts

Has anyone ever been able to find a good replacement for the flimsy leaf spring contacts in this charging dock? It seems like a common issue that the contacts bend and break (I knowingly bought a second hand dock that has a broken pin).

I've been unable to find a replacement I'm confident will fit/work. Googling it returns this Reddit post ``https://www.reddit.com/r/AskElectronics/... where someone else was also looking for the part, but was unsuccessful. If any electronics gurus could point me to a part that would be a good fit that would be great. If not, I'll probably blindly buy a few different ones and see if they work.

The dualsense charging station has white side plates like the Playstation 5 console. I want to paint them black, so I was wondering if there was a way to remove the white plates. There are no visible screws. The whole thing seems to be glued together.

They both are the original sony screens, one seems that the backlighting coil is broken, the second one has corroded fuses

Hello, I’d like to change out my super awesome ps3 wireless headset battery as my usage time has dropped from 10 hours or so to 5 hours. The old is 3.7v 570mah LIP1472 battery and perhaps 8 years old with hundreds of charges. The 3.7V 1500mAh 583460 Li-ion is slightly larger than the original (3mm longer (L) and 1 mm thicker (D), while 4 mm narrower (W)) and I can modify the unit for the size difference. I am hoping to get double the “new product” usage rate at maybe 20 hours per charge. Would this battery work in this application?

I’ve had my pstv for about 3 years didn’t use it for about 6 months when I pulled it back out I tried connecting my controller to the back and it wouldn’t turn on my controller wasn’t connecting I tried others controllers same thing which leads me to believe its the USB port it may be damaged because nothing seems to connect/power on when I plug my usb in and just trying to see how I can fix it

Suddenly my headphones stop work on wireless mode, i guess is the battery, some of the pulse mode have same problem and is fix just removing the battery and plugging again, so I want to give it a chance cuz the Sony service here say they don't want to fix it, I just need to know how to remove the ear cups to can acces to the bolts.

If somebody know about I will really appreciate it.

I lost the dongle to my old style PS3 headset. Cechya-0080. Bought new dongle cechya-0082. Tried every combination of pushing the 2 recessed buttons on both the dongle and headset and they will not pair. Any suggestions?
