Hello. I have a GTK-XB5 sony. it connects bluetooth to it but nothing else is heard. when the volume button is pressed, the white ” audio in” is also on. can you help me with an opinion? what needs to be changed?

I have tried to solder it back together but I am not sure if I have done it right can solder arc between it self as there is a small gap in the solder I did manage to turn it back on for a few seconds then it died then when I tried again there was a spark from the power jack

.See attached image. I have the same issue and I believe the cause is this short on the motherboard where the solder has come off and is touching the other two solder points.

Yes sorry same model number Panasonic max2000 it powers on fine. No power on at all.. Tried to reset. Still nothing. I did clean up those points to no avail. it was switched to 110v and powered on when it should have been on 240v.

Is there anyway I can remove the grill and clean underneath? Its very dusty and dirty under the grill and am just wondering if you can unscrew it. If not have have you got any other suggestions?

I have a Sony gtk-1xbt and I stood on the plug and broke it, so I replaced it with another plug with same power fuse but now the sound on the speaker changes from loud to quiet on itself when playing music?

Sony GTK-XB5: Motherboard Broken and Replaced but still won't switch on

Speaker had no power, turned out it was a chip on the main board that was faulty. I managed to replace the main board but there is still no power or sound.

A multimeter has confirmed that the main board is now operating correctly and the NFC chip reads.

This is the correct board for the XB5.

Is there something I’m missing, I really don’t understand how it is all connected correctly and there is power through the unit that the power light or any other light won’t light up.
