Sony Ericsson W995: 2G coverage is disappearing

we have Sony Ericsson W995. when we make a call the 2G coverage is going off while if we force the phone to 3G it will work normally.

My Sony Ericsson W995 mobile after turned on don't react to any key command, except turn on and off, even with its battery full charged.

I dont know why, but it asks for a sim. When I place a sim card in, it gives an error of "Incorrect sim card". Along those lines. The phone itself visually looks fine. I read a message a while ago sent probably 13 years ago that said to take it to the service to get it fixed. However sony ericsson I dont think exist anymore.

This is far as I’ve gotten after finding it, and replacing the battery. I would love to have it repaired or restored.

Little progress made after replacing the battery. Following a long charge, the display flickers little, and then goes blank again.

Hello everyone. I have an issue with my Sony Ericsson W995. It is not responding to power button and to charger. I inserted a working battery from my working Sony Ericsson W150i Yendo, but still no activity. Can be a dead EROM or bad motherboard the main issue?

When I try to get into my Sony Ericsson w995 it says insert the correct SIM card. But I don’t have it. How do I get into my phone without the right SIM card. I want to se all the things I have done for memory’s back in the days.

Sony Ericsson W995: Phone fell down and slider won't work.

So I "Accidentally" threw my phone to the ground in a rage flash, but when I picked it up, it worked fine and nothing was broken besides the body, which is not a big deal. What bothers me is that the phone lost its springy resistance when it slides up and down. I searched throughout the web for answers to this issue, but there is nothing so far. Will someone help me please?
