Sony Ericsson W810i: Phone Stuck on Sony Ericsson Start Splash Screen

Hello there, I recently wanted to revive my old Sony Ericsson W810i phone, so I purchased a power cord and battery only to find that the phone would startup but get stuck on the sony ericsson splash screen with the black background. When I power on the phone with the power cord plugged in it gets beyond that screen and gets to a charging screen, then if i unplug the phone the walkman animation plays and it get to the second half of the boot process (the sony ericsson logo but on a white screen this time) and then proceeds to shut down 3 seconds later. I have tried the obvious remove the battery and wait method and the hold c button method, the phone is also fully charged. Thanks, All Help would be Appreciated!

Hi,

I recently bought a J108i phone and the language is set in english. This doesn’t bother me except that I’m wrinting in french and I don’t have T9 in this language.

How could I add this language to my phone so I can use it in messages?

French is not one of the proposed languages in this phone so I’m looking for some kind of language pack.

Sony Ericsson K810i: My phone stops detecting my Sim card after working for some hours

My Sony Ericsson fails to read my Sim card after working for some hrs.Inactive Sim or insert Sim appears on my screen whenever this problem occurs.I inserted my Sim card into other phones and it worked fine.The part of the phone responsible for reading my Sim card seems to be ok because it was checked by a technician.I don't suspect the problem to be hardware related cos if it were hardware related the phone would not work for some hours before going off after displaying the above message.I had to reset my phone cos I thought the problem was software related.I noticed a little improvement but the fault still exists.Please what can I do to solve this problem.I am in love with my phone

Sony Ericsson W995: My phone is sim locked

I dont know why, but it asks for a sim. When I place a sim card in, it gives an error of "Incorrect sim card". Along those lines. The phone itself visually looks fine. I read a message a while ago sent probably 13 years ago that said to take it to the service to get it fixed. However sony ericsson I dont think exist anymore.

Hello. When I was removing the screen from my Sony Ericsson W580i, I accidentally broke a tab on the top of the screen which has holding the screen in. Can I use the screen with broken tab or I should replace the screen?

Hello everyone. I have a Sony Ericsson W580Ii with a screen issue. It dropped on the ground (not on display side, but dropped on the back) and after that accident, I see lines on the bottom sides of the display. Can it be an internal flexible cable connecting the two halves of the phone, flexible cable connecting the display to the motherboard or the LCD the problem?

I accidentally connected 11 volts instead of 3.6 as the battery has died then the screen flashed for a brief moment and it has been dead since

Does it have something like a fuse if the whole phone is dead

This is far as I’ve gotten after finding it, and replacing the battery. I would love to have it repaired or restored.

Little progress made after replacing the battery. Following a long charge, the display flickers little, and then goes blank again.

Hi, so I have a Sony Ericsson W518a and I tried powering it on and got no response. I left it on a charger overnight and it vibrated once, but that was it. I replaced the battery and still nothing. Also, when I try to turn it on, the screen gets a little brighter then turns off again. Any help will be appreciated!

Hi! So my dads old sony ericsson phone with lots of old holiday photos wont turn on and we're not sure what to do. Phone doesnt have a memory card they are directly on the phone. When the charger is plugged in a red light at the bottom sometimes stays on for a few minutes or simply flashes for a few seconds then stays off but it ultimately still doesn't turn on. We've bought a new charger and battery and nothing has helped to turn it on so far. Ive read online that the red blinking indicates either a battery problem or about updating/flashing the firmware or a corrupted erom? ive also seen some things about a wotanserver but im not sure what that is. A lot of other forums with this problem are more 10 years old so any helpful links and advice is outdated. Could somebody please help my dad really wants to get these old family photos and videos from the phone and to stop worrying about them. Thank you.
