Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H2: Can’t find shutter button replacement

My Sony DSC-H2’s shutter button broke (which seems to be a common thing on these models) and needs a replacement. So far I’ve figured out how to replace it however since it’s an old camera I can’t find the remplacement parts anywhere. Just decade-old forum discussions and outdated listings. Does anyone have an idea where I could look for it?

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H2: Lens is stuck halfway

My Sony DSC-H2 was working fine until recently. The word 'Access' appears when you start it up, indicating that there's a problem with extending the lens. The image is fuzzy and can't be focused. When I try to power it off, it tries about three times to retract the lens but then gives up and leaves the lens half out.

I've tried new batteries and a factory reset of the camera.

Any help appreciated.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H2: What causes short battery life?

Sony DSC-H2 S/N 4419046 purchased 12/30/2006 indicates a low battery voltage after 10 flash pictures or 25 non-flash pictures. I have new batteries (Sanyo Ni-MH HR-3U 2700mAh. Lithium and Alkaline types have the same symptom. The problem does not seem to be specific to any function such as flash or using rear display rather than the viewfinder. I am a competent electronic repair technician. I can measure and do modern PCB repair. I'm not intimidated by the complexity. I expect a leaky capacitor, but don't know where to order unique parts for this camera . Thank You for reading !
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H2: Sony DSC-F505V can't read memory card (C:13:01)

Hi guys, sorry if I took the wrong device in this post, I'm new here and mine wasn't showing so I took the closest one I could find.

I got a problem with my old Sony DSC-F505V, and I'm hoping to find someone who could help me diagnose the following problem. I have bought a Memory Stick Duo Adapter (MSAC-M2) last week and I received it yesterday. I fitted a 1GB Pro Duo card in it to try it out (I pulled it out of my Sony DSC-H2, works well with it), and it doesn't recognize the card.

I got the error C:13:01, which is to reinsert card, I did that a couple of times but wasn't working. I got two hypotheses for that error :

- Camera doesn't recognize the adapter
- Pro Duo card is too big, storage wise

Note : I tried to format the card externally, using the adapter and without. Format did work, my PC recognized it well but not the camera.
I tried to format the card using the camera but the error took over and I couldn't do it.
Note 2 : I bought this camera in a garage sale, sold as working for a low price without a memory stick, so that's why all of this adapter business is going on. It seemingly doesn't have water damage and seems to work well without the card even if the "No memory stick" message appears.

I tried to remove the battery, clean the contacts, inserting the memory stick back and forth but no apparent difference. Maybe the 1GB pro duo card is too big in storage for that camera? I don't know.

What could it be? Thanks in advance for your answers guys.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H2: DSC-H2 screen extremely blurry/zoomed in and can't see through lens

The camera turns on, but I cannot see through the lens. The digital screen is extremely blurry, appearing as if it's zoomed in too much, even though I've tried zooming out. I have already tried removing the batteries for 60 seconds and performing a factory 'Initialize' from the Setup menu, but the issue persists. The lens may not be extending or focusing correctly. What are the next steps to diagnose if this is a stuck lens drive or a failed CCD sensor?
