Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W150: Sony DSC-W150 won't focus at normal distances

Hi everyone,

I'm having an autofocus issue with my Sony DSC-W150.

When the camera is zoomed out (wide angle), it won't focus on subjects at normal distances. The lens doesn't seem to move at all while trying to autofocus. However, if I zoom in, autofocus works normally. It also focuses correctly when taking close-up shots (macro).

At first, I thought the camera couldn't focus at all, but it seems the problem only occurs at wide angle and normal shooting distances.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is this likely a focus motor, lens mechanism, or calibration issue? Is there any known fix?

Thanks in advance!

Sony Alpha a7s II: Backlight doesn't work after repair

Display was broken and I’ve removed it. After I took new one and attached it, but the main ribbon (from display board to pcb board) was damaged. I’ve bought new and replace, but now backlight doesn’t work. Service man told, that problem may be in short circuit (when damaged ribbon touched metal tilting mechanism) and backlight is controlled by the BGA 8072PN (upper left corner of photo). But on the forum I’ve read that backlight is controlled by another chip. So I need to repair backlight but don’t know how.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H20: Power button light is flashing but not booting up

I recently bought a used sony h20, which the seller told me supposedly still works but has a broken battery. I bought a new one but the problem remains: the green light on the power button and the light beside the lens flash once when i press the power or playback button, but then nothing else happens. I tried connecting the camera directly to an AC adapter as well as my computer, but still no luck. What could be the issue here?
