please help. it started with it showing that the cassette tape is not going in with a yellow arrow, after trying to take the cassette tape out it gets stuck on the tape. after letting it rest for awhile now it is not reading the cassette tape

The camera was in perfect working order. Playback worked and I could see through the viewfinder. But as soon as I put in a new tape, the camera recorded for 4 seconds and the caution light blinked and the footage glitched and shut off. Now the camera won't respond when plugged in to the DC cable or with a battery. The battery has been tested and it's good and my camera is in Standby mode. It shows blinking zeros on the screen by the power buttons but will not start playback or record. I also cannot see through the viewfinder. It also will not eject the new 8mm tape.

It's a great device which is made for only japanese people. And it contains Japanese language only. That's very sad for me.

I had searched many times on the internet for solution, but there is nothing.

So please if anyone know how to change It's language into International/English it would be a great favore for me.

The camera has quit on me and I tried a new battery, using DC power and it won't turn on. My IT guy is going to look at it, but in the meantime I really really need the tape inside the camera. Is there a failsafe to eject the tape?

Sony DCR-TRV350: Sony DCR-TRV350 Replacement Battery Not Working

I recently purchased a Sony DCR-TRV350 camera at a local yard sale. It came with the OEM battery and 3rd party brand charger. I took the camera home and charged the battery for several hours. But when putting the battery in the camera, it will not turn on. Now if I plug in the AC adapter charger, the camera turns on and works perfectly fine. So using multimeter the OEM battery cannot hold the charge. So I bought a 3rd party brand replacement battery from Amazon. Kastar, it shows it is suppose to work for this specific camera. Received the new battery, it has a charge already but when I put it in the camera, same issue. It wont turn on with just battery. It appears its charging, as the light comes on when I connect the charger to the camera. With the old OEM battery the light would come on for a few seconds and go off. But with the new battery, it stays on. So its definitely charging, checking with multimeter confirms this. But the camera still will not power on battery only. Do you think this is the wrong battery? Maybe not strong enough? Or do you think the camera has issues with the battery part? When I have the charger plugged into the camera all the functions work perfectly fine. I can record, I can play back, all the play back buttons work. All the functions work. Just wont run off battery. Any suggestions?

Sony Betamovie BMC-220: What kind of battery is used?

I just bought a beta movie BMC-220 and it didn’t come with a battery. I don’t know much about batteries, but with some research, the closest answer I’ve gotten is a NP-11 battery. That’s a rechargeable battery and I’ve seen lots of NP-22 and -55, but not very many -11s. Are they interchangeable? And do they all recharge from the same charger? Do all rechargeable batteries recharge with the same charger? What is the rechargeable battery/charger ratio? Is the NP-11 even the right battery for a BMC-220? I know this is a lot of questions, but let me know if you can answer any of them. Thank you!

Sony Camcorder: Pinch roller fell off

The pinch roller came off my Sony Handycam. I read that I need a locking nut to hold it on. Any idea where I can get a locking nut for Sony Handycam CCD-TRV308? The roller looks fine.
