Sony Bravia 40" LCD TV: Where can I find a replacement LCD panel for my TV?

Hello, about a year ago our 40" Sony Bravia LDC Television went one-on-one with a Wii remote... and lost. The panel was cracked, and the TV was not covered under a warranty. We have long since replaced it with another similar 40" Bravia which has faired pretty well over the past year. The other TV has been residing in the basement in it's box. I decided to leave it there until the price of LCD panels had gone down. I'm now thinking of buying a new panel (if the price is reasonable) and replacing it. The only problem is that I have no idea as to where you can buy an LCD panel for one of these TVs. eBay returned no results and neither did Amazon. Does anyone know where I can buy an LCD panel for one of these TVs?

Sony Bravia TV 55'' ultra 4k: YouTube giving an error 'please check your network connection'

Hi I just connected my Sony TV to the Internet three days ago. YouTube was working fine the first day. And now it is not working. It keeps giving me the error message 'please check your network connection' everytime I try to get on that app. I checked my Internet connection, I am able to get on Netflix without any problems. I also switched off everything unplugged and replugged the wires, and still unable to get in YouTube app on TV.

By the way, YouTube works fine on the other laptops and phones.

I did do photo plus sharing from my phone to TV end of the first day. Could that have to do with any of this error?

I'm posting for the first time, don't know how this site works, I hope I get notified.

Sony Bravia 42" LCD TV: Sony Bravia TV turns off repeatedly.

My Sony Bravia TV (model number KDL-46W905A) turns off randomly every few minutes. At first it seemed that it only happened when it was directly plugged into the wall, but not when it was plugged into an extension cord, but now it happens no matter what. It always turns back on after a couple of seconds, and is otherwise working perfectly, but something seems to be tripping and turning it off, with no apparent pattern. I am new to fixing stuff but really don’t want to have to throw away an otherwise perfectly good television that my landlord was going to throw out! Thanks to anyone who can offer any advice!

Sony Bravia 40" LCD TV: no picture no sound

32 days after I bought this tv it went out. no picture or sound. I had it repaired under factory warranty. 2 years later, it happened again. the same exact thing. I put it in the closet and went and bought a new t.v. The other day, I pull it out of the closet to see if I could repair it. After exploring the web, I ordered a new "A" board. I changed it out and now my back lights come on but nothing else. What else could be causing my problem?

Sony Bravia 40" LCD TV: no picture, has sound, no t-con

I have a sony bravia kdl-40w605b.

There is no picture but the sound works fine at least I can hear the beeps from the menu even though I cannot see it.

The backlight is working fine.

This would normally be put down to a t-con failure however there appears to be no dedicated t-con board. The t-con cable goes directly from the mainboard to the screen.

I have replaced both the mainboard and t-con cable with no joy.

Is there something I am missing? Could this be the power board or something else?

So new power board caused 6 red blinks so I'm guessing that I either got sold a duff board or it's the wrong board despite having the same model number.
