Bravia KDL-32V2000]]> The TV turns on, green led comes on. No picture or sound. Backlight flashing every 20 secs or so, followed by a clicking sound from the relay on the power board. When I turn off and back on, and then change the source with the remote, eg from tuner to HDMI, I get picture for a brief 1 or 2 seconds and then it goes blank again. During the 2 secs with picture, I can also hear a very low buzzing sound.

Troubleshooting steps I tried:

  1. Inspected all boards for faulty caps.
  2. The power board looked like it had a faulty cap, so ordered a new board and replaced. The situation did not change at all, backlight still flashing followed by the relay click. This ruled out any faults with the power board.
  3. Next, I inspected the inverter board. However, taking into consideration there is no picture and sound, I ruled out the inverter board as well.
  4. As far as I can tell, I am left with a fault on either the tcon board or the main board. I would appreciate it if anyone could guide me find out which one. I have a multimeter so I can take readings on the pins.
