Sony A5000: Sony A5000 keeps restarting when pressing shutter button

I bought a Sony A5000, second-hand in 2023, and it worked perfectly until about 3–4 months ago when a strange issue started, everything on the camera works fine (recording, dials, buttons, menus), but whenever I press the shutter button to take a photo, the camera restarts, and it usually takes 4–5 tries before it actually captures a picture. I’m wondering if this could be a motherboard problem or something else like the shutter assembly or power?
Also, can a weak or aging battery cause this kind of restart loop when the shutter activates, even if the camera powers on and records video fine?

Sony A5000: I dropped my camera on the floor and now the lens will not open.

I recently dropped my Sony A5000 camera on a hard floor while the lens was extended, it closed and now it will not open. Whenever I push on the front of the lens, I can hear a creaking sound. After I dropped it, the lens was slightly lopsided but now it has been pulled back into place. There are no other visible problems with the camera and the “release without lens” setting is not working. If I turn on the camera, I can still access everything but it displays the text “Cannot recognize lens. Attach it properly.”. What should I do?

Sony a5000: My battery drains even while off. Then I have to reset the time/date

Anyone know why Sony AXXXX cameras all have this battery drain issue?

I have tried all kinds of solutions I found online, like turning off wifi and stuff. The worst thing is that I have to set the time/date every time I replace the battery. This tells me that maybe the internal battery is no good…?
