Eufy Doorbell 2k (Battery-Powered): The microphone on these seem to die easily.

I have two of these Eufy 2K Doorbells and both had their microphone failing after about a year of use. I unpaired one of them a now that one is useless since it can not pair anymore without the microphone. Anyone any suggestion if this can be repaired? Eufy can't deliver a spare microphone.

I think the microphone sits at the top, above the camera. Does somebody know for sure which part is the microphone?

Eufy Doorbell 2k (Battery-Powered): Lens cover won’t stay in place

My Eufy video doorbell is c 3 yrs old.

I recently noticed there was water under the glass disc which covers the camera lens and brought the device indoors to try and dry it out.

The lens cover subsequently fell off and will not stay back in place.

On inspection, it seems the “bezel” which retains this glass disc, and keeps things waterproof, has degraded.

The company can’t give me any advice re repair and just tell me to buy a new unit.

I feel this is wasteful - and surely the design life of this sort of tech should be longer than 3 years!

Can anyone suggest a safe way I could secure the glass cover back in position?

The only thing I’ve though of is tracing a bit of glue round the perimeter with a cocktail stick and then pushing the lens cover back in position.

Eufy Doorbell 2k (Battery-Powered): Doorbell not syncing with hub.

Hi, my doorbell won't sync with hub anymore.

I repositioned the bell and when I clicked it into the holder it was difficult to clip in. So it looks like I used too much force and the screw head that holds the bracket pressed hard against the workings inside the bell. I've tightened down the screw for clearance. Now the bell won't sync with the hub, it doesn't connect anymore. Does anyone know what part I've damaged and can it be repaired. I must have broken a connection inside. It charges ok and makes the ring sound when pressed, it just won't connect anymore. Please help.
