Shark Rotator Lift-Away Speed: Wand Release button doesn't work.

We have had three Shark Rotator Lift Away Speed (not powered) vacuums all fail in the same way. The wand release button stops working, and the wand cannot be taken out. We have returned the first two to Target, and are hoping there is an alternative to keep returning them.

Shark Pet Perfect II: Runs for only one second

Shark 18 volt vacuum will turn on, run for one second, and then turn off.

Update (04/07/2019)

It’s an 18 volt hand held. Shark, model SV780_N. I thought it might be a bad switch. When I took it apart, I found the switch has a circuit board attached to it. Is this some kind of overload cutout? When I jumper across the switch(bypassing the circuit board) it will keep running, meaning the battery is good.

Shark Rocket HV301: No suction - not a filter or clogged hose

My Shark is a Rocket True Pet purchased from Walmart in 2015. Great vacuum until today. I vacuumed our hardwood floor of pet hair (maybe 15-20 minutes) and it did well. Went to vacuum a small carpet with dog hair and nothing. Running but not picking up. I've detached the main unit from everything and removed all filters. It turns on and sounds fine but no suction coming from tip. I see nothing else I can clean.
