On my shark Navigator lightweight vac, the plunger to release the dust cup from the vac is not. activating and the dust cup won't come off.

There are no screws to disassemble.

I had to ship my vac its a nv27GR and in trasit the head was torn not detached correctly leaving a white and black wire that makes brush head roll work hangibg out i got it all figured out but what to do with wires
