Not sure what to check and need advice]]> My Delta 40-650 won't work. The saw worked well for a while, though it had a delayed start (apparently this is a feature so you have time to get your hands back to the workpiece). You hit the start switch and then it takes a second or two to start up.

Now, though, it does nothing. It has been a few months since I checked it (working on a project and haven't been able to mess with it), but iirc, it buzzed and did not move. I think it might be the capacitor, but idk.

I need to know what to look for and test because I don't know what symptoms to look for. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I have cleaned up the rust with vinegar soak and have got the saw clamps working as they should. I have looked on the Web for a manual but the only manuals available are for Series 2. This Series 1 scrollsaw has a shop light feature built in, but the wires were cut off and the light part is missing. I am interesting in a manual for the series 1 (not 2) All help is appreciated
