if you replace the motherboard on the Onyx EZ will that change the radio ID # ? I am on my third radio with my lifetime agreement. Will it still work with the same reception?

Satellite Radio: Docking station works fine in one building,

Two buildings 20 yards apart. Two radios with docking stations work fine in bldg. A, neither one works in bldg. B. Both buildings have outdoor antenna with same view of the sky. LCD display shows station, artist and song title but no audio. Radio in bldg. B worked for about 5 years then quit. Replaced antenna and wiring in bldg. B still not working.

Satellite Radio: Sirius Sportster R stuck on logo after overheating

My Sirius Sportster R, which has lifetime activation, overheated after being left on overnight. It was hot to the touch. After cooling down, it now turns on but is stuck on the Sirius logo screen. I am unable to send it to Sirius XM for repair due to the lifetime activation. What could be the cause of this issue, and how can I troubleshoot or repair it?

Can’t find anyone to repair this. All the electronics guys I talk to say no. One tried and gave it back.

Turn it on, the moving logo goes on, then it settles down to a beautiful picture of a dog.

And does nothing from that point on.

I know it’s not worth that much money — but it’s a lifetime subscription which I can no longer transfer to any other device.

My unit was cutting in and out and then stopped playing all together, the song titles were still appearing however it switch to standard FM radio. What's wing with it?

my XM radio will not turn on. It is the 2015 Onyx model. It is on about 8 hours a day and I shut it off at night. The other day when I tried to turn it on, it felt warm, as if it was already on.

I have had problems with it shutting off on its own late in the day sometimes. I could just power it back on.

Pushing the power button or holding it down a long time will not start up the radio.

These are just $79 radios ( plus $75 subscripton transfer) but is there any other trick to get this thing to turn on?

I see 3 holes in the back together with contact points under each hole? Would these be for a reset of some kind?

Apologies in advance, I wasn't able to choose the correct model because it wasn't listed. I'm actually experiencing delays with Memorex portable radio. While I'm listening to the radio, I've noticed that suddenly all the radio stations turned to static. I frowned, and scrolled endlessly thinking that's such an unusual problem, it can't be right. So, I turned the radio off and on again, and even changed the batteries, now instead of static, complete silence?? Absolutely no noise anywhere, no matter how much I played with the dials. Eventually, I gave up in disgust, thinking it was broke for some/no reason, and the next day I decided to give it one more try. Sure enough, everything was back to normal as if nothing had ever happened. What is going on?
