My tv turns on then turns right back. The picture is not good. I have to turn it on and off four or five times before it stays on. Don't know what the deal is

The tv screen is black. No static picture at all, just black. The tv turns on , has sound.

Any suggestions? I like to tinker.

Sanyo Television: Red light on but not turning on

I have a sanyo flat screen tv. FW24E05T. It's in good condition atleast 3 years old never had any problems, but has been sitting for awhile without being used. The red standby light is on when its plugged in but the tv won't turn on. The reset seems to do nothing, unplugging and replugging does nothing, and the light just stays solid red (no blinking, green or blue light). Is there anything I can do or is it toast? Thanks for any help.

We have sound but no picture. Called tech support they say it is the video card that has gone out.

Sanyo 40" LCD-40XR10F Tv doesn't come on but have power. Got a blank screen.

Was working fine last night but not this morning

Any ideas would be great and if it's a quick fix can I do it myself?

I have a Sanyo DP58D33 that I bought from a friend recently. It worked great for her and her family with no problems and it started out that way with me too after I bought it from them. My husband hooked up the PlayStation to the tv and everything seemed fine (everything was working as expected) when suddenly the image on the tv went black but the sound/audio could still be heard. We unplugged the PlayStation from the tv and the problem continued. Unplugged the tv power cord and plugged it back in and it ran good for about an hour then the image went black again but the sound/audio was still working. Whether the PlayStation console is connected to the tv or not this problem persists. Could it be something within the settings when connecting the PlayStation or is it something more?

Mabe I haven’t explain well enough. I have a Sanyo flat screen tv. I discontinued the cable services and I am trying to get it to work for local channels with an external antenna source. I am not able to get the tv to connect properly.
