Sanyo VPC-X1200: How do I get pictures from my camera to the computer?

I have Retractable USB 2.0 kit. It is plugged in from my camera to the computer. But the computer is not recognizing it. I think I may have to download info to let the computer know that it is plugged in? One other note, being the novice I am I have a cordless internet plug in to Drive D...I did take it out, tried to use that Drive for the cameral didn't work. I am stumped, of course I am not computer savy either. Please explain in very simple language. Thanks.

Sanyo VPC S1275: Why won't my camera turn on properly?

I've had this camera for about a year now and some time in the last 6 months it started not working properly (I used to keep it in my school bag so it possibly got damaged from being dropped...)

Batteries are new. When I try turning it on, the LCD changes colour for a split second but nothing happens. I can sometimes (with a lot of patience and holding the camera at a certain angle) get it to turn on but then when I press the shutter button, it turns off again.

I know it's not just a LCD screen thing as the lens is not moving out once I have attempted to turn the camera on.

Any suggestions on how to repair this?

Sanyo Camera: batteries go flat is left in camera

I have a Sanyo VPC-E2100. All was working fine with it. Then the batteries went flat. Bought some more, went flat.

Bought some good rechargeable ones. I have discovered if I leave them in the camera they will go flat, quite quickly. If I take one out, and then put it in when I want to take photos, all is fine. But that is a REAL nuisance.
