Sansa e250: Formatting erased firmware on my Sansa e250

I have a Sansa e250 with firmware v1 and I accidentally formatted the drive with the system files on it so now my PC doesn't even recognize it. When it powers on the screen is black with no back-light but the wheel light is on. Is there a way to fix this?

Sansa e250: sansa worked fine, paused it, pluged it into charger, next day inert

The sansa has been working fine in the middle of an audio book. I paused it and oops! Just plugged it into a USB charger and the lights came on. Never overlook the obvious.
