Samsung un55ks8000: Samsung un55ks8000 turns on but black/gray image power light blinks 7x

My Samsung un55ks8000 started having this problem where when I turn on the tv all I see is a grayed out image and the red power lights stays blinking 7 times. Then it power cycles and keeps repeating the same steps.

Any idea what it could be?

Hello, I have a Samsung TV that has a dark spot on the left side that flickers. Could it be a backlight issue or an issue with the LCD?

Samsung un55ks8000: Screen goes on and off audio is alright

The screen on my un60ks8000 will start and run for a few minutes then goes on and off every few minutes when playing either cable or amazon fire stick. The audio is alright and keeps playing as it is going through a receiver. After playing for a few minutes the problem may reduce or go away, but not always. Does the same thing whether cable input or amazon fire tv. Signal is going through a Marantz receiver and problem exists whether receiver is turned on or off. Marantz allows signal to pass through.
