While on vacation, the back cover fell off of my Samsung Watch Active (SM-500) and I couldn't find it to put it back on. I've been trying to find a replacement back/glass/sensor, but I can only find them for newer models! Help? The back looks like a plus sign.

Samsung Watch Active: Watch screen stopped working after swimming in pool

Hi,

The screen on my watch hasn't been working after using it whilst swimming.

The watch vibrates when placed on the charging pad and only one button seems to work on the side, it only gives a small vibration when it's held for around 10 seconds.

I've had the watch apart and its been cleaned with isopropyl alcohol, which has made no difference.

Suspect either the screen or mother board is unserviceable, but seems strange as there is no visible water damage inside the unit.

Any help would be great ☺️

Samsung Watch Active: Watch randomly stopped responding

My watch randomly died while I was at work. The screen went from working normally, to only showing yellow-ish lines and kind of fading in and out, to not displaying picture at all now.... It's still functional, still charges (vibrates) and before I reset it through the app, my notifications would still make it vibrate. I'm just wondering if I should replace the screen or another component. I bought it back in 2020 used and already beaten up pretty good, as a work watch. It's had a rough life, from sand/steel dust to machining coolant/oil in the past 2 years. I've taken it apart after it died, and it doesn't appear any liquid got inside, though the screws did appear to have some corrosion on them. (Could have also been spottily applied loctite)

Am I looking at a screen or main board replacement? Obviously since I've opened it I'll replace the battery as well. I bought a galaxy watch active 2 in the meantime, but I'd like to fix this one for my S/O. Thanks!

Samsung Watch Active: Galaxy Watch Active suspected dead

Hello there! Today I was able to purchase Galaxy Watch Active for a really good price (even risking it's dead).

After plugging it onto original charging cable nothing happens apart from one single vibration every few times when it's plugged. I disassembled it carefully before first time plugging it in to be sure there's no liquid damage. After I inspected motherboard, battery assembly and display assembly there was nothing I could say is wrong. Even what I suspect was water damage marks wasn't damaged.

Do you think there's something more I could do or just stop loosing time trying to bring it back to life?
