My little boy had dropped the camera and now the lens does not close.

There is an error message "The zoom did not operate normally. Insert the battery again and try. If it doesn't work do not apply force and go to service"

The message appears with the battery inside. I have removed and put it back few times as well as fully charged it, but the lens still does not close.

Anyway to self-repair?

The flash is turned on, on the camera but when proceeding to take a picture, the flash doesn't go off. If there a way to fix this?
